Recent health score 91.
This little place is only a couple of miles east of Canton's bustling commercial section but is a complete other world. Don't let the somewhat rough exterior discourage you; it's better on the inside.
It serves breakfast and lunch every day except Monday. The menus are very basic plus there are some meat-and-2 items that change daily. We enjoyed very good ham steak, spinach and butter pecan cake. The black eyed peas, mac and cheese and northern beans were good but somewhat bland. As one might expect, the service was very fast, orchestrated by an affable owner. The prices were very fair.
The establishment is beautifully decorated throughout with University of Georgia memorabilia.
Recommended for down-home comfort food.

This restaurant may never be listed on a national food registry but it may be featured on one of those food network shows (DDD). The food is well prepared and great, nothing fancy just good food at a good price. The outside looks like an old gas station but the inside had been transformed into a cozy country kitchen. Get there early as the few tables fill up quickly. We eat there two go three times per month.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. Coy and Linda serve simple diner food and do it well. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It's where you meet your friends and neighbors over good hearty food.

This is a great place to get good "home cooking," especially at breakfast. The cafe is housed in an old service station building and is totally unpretentious. Although the no frills atmosphere is part of its charm, the real attraction is the food. The biscuits are great, and you can get them plain or with sausage gravy, country ham, or several other options. They only serve breakfast and lunch, and you may have to wait for a table for a little while, but it's worth it. We eat there once or twice a month and always leave happy.
