Average to poor The breakfast was so poorly provided for and the area to sit is very small for the amount of rooms.
Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We apologize that you did not find our breakfast up to your expectations. We are in the process of upgrading our breakfast offerings, as well as providing a larger seating area. We hope you give us another opportunity to serve you.
I judge on many levels and this stay was exceptional!! Ben and Rebekah were more than excellent Innkeepers!! We were greeted with smiles and genuine warmth. When I black lighted the room and bathroom I found it to be exceptionally clean.. the parking lot was very clean and well maintained. When we requested additional towels they were given with smiling good graces. The pool area and pool were well maintained as well, and the free breakfast with free waffles was excellent!! The location may not have been the best. but being right off Rte 95 it was convienient.. however, I saw police cars patrolling so I knew my vehicle would be safe. The price was extremely affordable a rare gem in South East Georgia
Thank you for your review and mentioning Rebekah and Ben as well! We take pride in providing excellent service and strive to exceed our guest's expectations. It was our pleasure to serve you and we hope to see you again soon!
This hotel tried scam me out of $250 on my AMEX card 10 days after my stay. This hotel is a dump!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!
My friend, dog and I were on a trip from VA to FL. This was my third stay in a Days Inn on the round trip road trip from FL to VA and back to FL. The two other Days Inn’s where we stayed (Emporia, VA and Savannah, GA) were lovely. At Days Inn Brunswick, I purchased 2 rooms for 1 night for my dog and I in one room, and my friend in another. After receiving the room cards, my friend and I randomly picked our rooms (the hotel had both rooms in my name and didn’t know who stayed where). Upon entering the rooms we were shocked at how filthy the rooms were. Because of filthy appearance, my friend did inspections of the rooms for bed bugs. She did not find a trace of bed bugs however, she did find that the mattresses were horribly soiled, the bottoms of the mattresses had been cut out and the carpets under the bed were stained. My bed was not completely made up and was lacking a blanket. We honestly did not want to stay in these rooms but, unfortunately, we did. The only reason we chose to stay is because I would have been charged for the two rooms at day’s inn, in addition to two rooms elsewhere. During our stay, my dog was crated within my room. Ten days after our stay, I received a phone call from a front desk clerk stating that my AMEX would be charged $250 b/c my dog had "used the bathroom under the bed and the carpets had to be removed and replaced". I immediately disputed the charge as it was physically impossible for my dog to have done what was claimed. I was told that the hotel manager would be contacting me to discuss the charges and that they had "evidence" against me. I asked which room the carpets had been removed/replaced as I had paid for two rooms. The front desk clerk was unable to provide me with this information. Five days after receiving this phone call, my AMEX had a charge from Brunswick Days Inn hotel in the amount of $250. Long story short- I filed a complaint with AMEX for fraud and Days Inn customer service. I was never able to reach the manager at days inn however I spoke with the same desk clerk many times- I asked her to send the "evidence" to me but never received it. Additionally, the story of where the carpet had been soiled by my dog changed several times. I also never got confirmation of which room the carpets were replaced. Days Inn customer service eventually got back and said there was nothing they could do because the hotel claimed to have documentation to prove that I owed $250. However, thank god for AMEX's investigation which proved in our favor as the hotel never furnished AMEX with anything to prove the allegations. The $250 charge was credited back to our account. I wish we would have left and paid for two additional rooms, had a good night’s sleep and avoided the reoccurring nightmare of staying at Brunswick Days Inn.
