Best Western Plus Brunswick Inn & Suites
Ranked #4 of 36 Hotels in Brunswick

This was a convenient stopover for my wife and I as she was returning to Florida from a visit with her mother in Northern Virginia and I was on my way to Philadelphia - so we were able to meet about halfway. We had a room with two queen beds as my ten year old daughter was with us as well. I've come to expect a clean room in a safe environment from Best Western and this hotel did not disappoint. It is very conveniently located just off of I-95 at the Brunswick exit and sits adjacent to the usual gas stations, other similar hotels, and a nearby Waffle House. I thought the bed was a bit firm but my wife said it was perfect for her. My daughter slept soundly and we all got a good night's rest before resuming our respective trips. My daughter especially enjoyed making her own waffle at the breakfast bar. I thought the biscuits looked inviting but lacked the requisite sausage gravy to make them truly attractive (we ARE in the South, after all). About the only real criticism I have to offer is that I would instruct the girl cleaning the breakfast area to NOT use the broom she has been sweeping the floor with to also dust off the chairs. That looked rather disgusting to me; I was finishing my breakfast when I saw her do it and I immediately lost what was left of my appetite.

Room Tip: The breakfast is rather Spartan, so you may want to consider the nearby Waffle House.

Reviews on Trip Advisor were accurate, thank you everyone. We used to spend so much more $$$ for accommodations. When we are on a road trip driving from the Florida Keys on our way North, all we want is a clean, comfortable & hospitable place to spend the night. This hotel was exactly that! Thank you Katrina, for your welcoming smile & help in the business center.

The hotel staff were all very courteous and professional. The room was exceptionally clean and the housekeeping should be commended. Hotel was easy to exit/enter the interstate, and was close to restaurants and gas stations. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Each morning, a complimentary full breakfast - including sausage, eggs, bacon, waffle station, fresh fruit and more - helps guests get an exceptional start to the day at this Georgia hotel. Five restaurants are also located within walking distance of this Georgia Best Western.

Traveling to the Brunswick, GA area to attend a wedding, we looked for reasonable lodging. Being a frequent guest of Best Western we looked and found one in the southwest quadrant of the intersection of I-95 and Golden Isles Parkway (GIP) (Exit 38). After getting off the exit you need to head west on GIP to its intersection with Perry Lane Road (a shopping center and the location of various hotels and restaurants).

We were greeted cordially as we entered the Best Western and soon had our room. I notice a placard on one of the end tables that announced that this hotel had been listed at the “Best” Best Western for the past four years. We soon found out why.

The rooms were clean both from appearance and smell. Our room had a king-size bed, a couch/hide-a-bed, a large mirror on the door of the closet, a desk, a microwave, a small refrigerator, and other amenities that would be expected of a hotel.

Our visit would span from Friday to Monday so we had a chance to see how well the hospitality and service of this hotel would work. In a word – GREAT!. The light bulb that was burnt out, replaced promptly and this was the normal response of other requests during our stay.

The breakfast Saturday was the pattern for the remaining morning we would eat there. A full complimentary breakfast is offered: eggs, sausage (although we did not see any bacon) waffle station, fresh fruit, yogurt, assorted cereals, coffee, assortment of juices, and an assortment of breads. The eggs were either scrambled or served as miniature “pancake” egg. Some might call it an omelet, but it was about 4” in diameter. We were well pleased by the breakfast and the attendant who keep replacements and refills coming before being asked.

As we were leaving Monday AM it was easy to understand why this Best Western location was highly rated by those guest who had stayed there before us.

For lunch or dinner the following restaurants were closely near by: Mill House Steakhouse, Arby’s, La Salsa Taqueria, Hubs Crab Cakes, Irie Jamacia Jerk Shop, City Buffet, Ruby Tuesday, Ole Times Country Buffet, Applebee’s, Captain D’s Seafood, Glynn Place Mall Food Court, Ruby Tuesday, Ryan’s Family Steak House, Starbucks, Waffle House, and more.

Other lodging properties at this intersection included Econolodge, Courtyard by Marriott, Country Inn & Suites, Comfort Suites, Comfort Inn, Clarion Inn, Baymont Inn & Suites, Embassy Suites, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn & Suites, and many, many others between Exit 38 and St. Simon’s Island.

Check in @ 8:00 P.M. after a 7 hour drive was good but asking "Where can i get something to eat nearby that would NOT cost an arm and a leg" i was told i would get 10% off showing my room key @ the Logan Roadhouse located adjacent to the motel property. That was a "Mistake" as i could not find a reasonable priced meal without improvising.Lesson learned.
We noticed a light that would not stay on over the tub area and i reported it to the manager on duty the next morning and it was promptly taken care of.I was how ever "Locked" out of my room twice during my stay and went back to the desk to get my keys reprogrammed??It was taken care of but a minor inconvenience as i had other patrons had concerns with a rear door at the entrance to the pool area that was told "Did Not Work" as intended with a room key..they were "Concerned" about safety @ night??

I WAS impressed with the people that had the job of keeping the sheets, washrags, towels and generally the upkeep of the cleanliness of the rooms to the fine people that were always smiling and trying their BEST to do a superb job!
