We are a French couple from Paris leaving at New Orleans. At the end of July we decided to visit the beautiful and amazing Golden Islands in Georgia on the Atlantic Coast and found the Manor an original place to stay. The Manor is like a Victorian museum with a lot of antiques. We sincerely and truly recommend having a dinner in the Manor owner’s restaurant (Stacy) located in old downtown. A restaurant lovely decorated and the menu is extraordinary as well as the waitresses and waiters. But the best person to meet is Rusty, the host of the Manor with his large smile and his deep voice from the Deep South. A unique cooker (even for vegan people as we are) and generous person always open and ready to listen to and accommodate his guests. Rusty is the beating heart of the Manor. Rusty symbolizes the legendary South hospitality. Finally, the Manor is very close from the marvelous Golden Islands and for those who like to fish; you can fish small sharks from the beach. We came for three days but everything was so good that we stayed five days with regret to leave. But we hope to come back! A big thanks Rusty to make the Manor so charming and friendliness. Don’t miss this unique and original place! Christiane et Jean

Room Tip: We loved our room the "Downing Suite"; all rooms are decorated in a different manner and o...

My partner and I have stayed at the Brunswick Manor a number of times and have always thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The "Manor", as we refer to it, is a step back in time with it's beautiful antiques, charming guest rooms, and meticulously landscaped grounds. It is perfectly situated in Old Town Brunswick, a few short blocks from the downtown shops and restaurants. It is also very close to both Saint Simons Island and Jekyll Island, both just about 10 minutes away. Rusty, the innkeeper, is a gracious host and excellent chef for the morning breakfast. He is very knowledgeable about the area and quick to offer assistance should you need anything.

We recommend the Brunswick Manor to all of our friends and look forward to many more stays here in the future.

My mother and I stayed for a 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the St. Simon's Suite. It had two bedrooms connected by a hallway and shared a bathroom. The Suite was off a closed corridor on the main floor and was perfect! The house is beautiful and Rusty and Lisa were very gracious hosts. They suggested restaurants and things to do during our stay. The property has a koi pond which made for fun times watching the fish! The house also has a very sweet resident cat named Henry. We will definitely be back again!

My wife and I were looking for a place where we could read, relax, and take nice walks in a beautiful setting, and the Brunswick Manor was an ideal locale for us to do all of these things. We enjoyed meeting and talking with Rusty, and he was very helpful in getting us acquainted with the town and the surrounding communities as well. I would highly recommend Brunswick Manor even if you are planning to go to St. Simons or Jekyll Island; they are just down the road and a short car ride away. We could not have been more pleased with our experience, and we look forward to returning.

I spent one night here on my way to St. Simons Island and wish I had stayed for more. It is a beautiful house, elegantly furnished, the Cumberland room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The host, Rusty, is friendly and helpful. I most enjoyed sitting out on the large porch with a view of Spanish moss-covered oak trees. A wonderful stay!

We were only there for one night....but enjoyed it more than any of the other B&B's we have visited!
Brunswick Manor was close to all the great tourists spots....we got wonderful tips on places to eat and visit....even shopping.
Recommended it to 2 other people before we even left the area. We Will visit again. Can't wait.

Room Tip: You really can't go wrong with any of the rooms at this B&B !
