There are certain expectations many people have for a place to stay for a single night as they drive down I-95: reasonable price, ease of access, breakfast, comfortable bed and cleanliness. This property is very nice, but doesn't really meet the first 2 criteria for a one-night stay...which is what most traveling along I-95 seek.

The Comfort Suites would be a great value in a resort or holiday area: it is a relatively new (6 months) hotel, the rooms are spacious and the appointments nice. There's granite in the large bathroom, both on the countertop and lining the bathtub area. There is a sofa, fridge and microwave, as well as a flat screen TV (doesn't appear to be HD service, however). The king bed in our room was very comfortable. There was a large closet in the room and ample drawer space. There's a laundry room on the 2nd floor (cost is $1 each for washer, dryer, soap). All of these characteristics would make this a great place to stay near a resort...but not as a one-nighter along I-95...which appears to be the clientele they will get.

Despite having a fridge and microwave, there was really no good place to eat in the room, save for the coffee table in front of the sofa. There was a desk and desk chair, but that's about it. The high-speed internet was fine on a laptop / netbook, but not with smart phones. Our Android phones had no way of logging into their system.

As with many places we've stayed, the bathroom was clean, but the tile grouting was not. I'll never understand why places like this don't seal the grout after installation.

After looking at TripAdvisor reviews, we selected this hotel for location and entered its address into our GPS. When we followed directions, we ended up at a dead end that looked as if it should have led to the hotel. Instead, we found that getting to the hotel requires an odd route through a gas station.

Check-in was a 2-pass event. We checked in and were given keys to one room...then went out for dinner. Upon our return, the clerk asked us to change rooms, as the first was said to be out of order. Not a problem for us, as we hadn't yet brought our suitcases up.

In the morning, the hum of truck engines awakened me...not exactly what I'd hoped for when paying a premium price for a room near the interstate highway. Breakfast was OK...hot dishes included limp bacon and ready-made cheese omelets (dried out by the time we ate). The coffee was good, as was the orange juice.

From listening to employees after we had breakfast, it was obvious that the kinks haven't yet been worked out of this hotel. It should improve over time.

In summary, we paid too much for a room that had amenities we didn't use, and probably would never use on a one-nighter.

Clean, comfortable and friendly, really what more could you ask for. A pleasant high point on a long trip down the I-95 corridor. Will return.

We stopped overnight based on Trip Advisor reviews.

Front desk clerk (can't remember her name) was AWESOME. Very friendly and helpful. Recommended a take-out resturant that was very good.

The room was good sized- 2 queens with a foldout couch. The only downside to the room- it looked like someone had urinated in the tub. We were too tired to move so we cleaned it, and I forgot to mention it to the staff on checkout. There could have been a few more towels in the room, but it was adequate. The bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast was typical... omeletes, waffles, bacon, as well as the typical continental fare. It was set up early, and the attendant dirrected me and my early-rising child to the cereal and milk.

There was an indoor pool and hot tub, but the pool was very cold... do not equate "indoor" with "heated." We choose hotels with indoor pools so the children can unwind after a day in the car, and they swam, but the adults had to draw lots to see who had to get in with them. There were no towels, but when I went to the front desk and asked, the clerk got some for me.

Overall, it was a nice stay, but I wish the pool had been warm.

We always use Trip Advisor to choose our hotels. We were impressed that not only did this hotel have great reviews but the manager commented on each one. To us that showed an extra level of caring and we were not disappointed. It's hard to know where to start to say how impressed we were with this hotel. Each employee we encountered was personable and friendly. The room was beautiful and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud! Maybe the most important thing was the quiet. We were surprised to see in the morning that the room next to us had been occupied- because we never heard a sound from there. There was a great selection of tv channels, comfy couch, fridge and microwave, desk. The breakfast had wonderful variety.Amazingly, this was the lowest priced hotel in which we stayed on a recent 10 day trip, and far and away the nicest! We would go out of our way to come here again. Thanks to all of you for giving us such a great stay!
