We just left Cherokee Sunset It was a gorgeous 3 level cabin. It was very clean it is only about 2 years old. The view could have had a little less treetops but still beautiful it is at the end of a locked private drive that was a plus! Very quiet awsome outside screened porch with gas fireplace beautiful living dining room and kitchen. We stayed in top bedroom with private balcony jetted tub but the bed had plastic matress cover that was noisy and hot but beautiful sunrise views hot tub was excellent but the bottom floor gameroom was cold and that was were king bed was so we couldn't sleep in it need heater down there no tv either just pool table but all in all very nice clean private kitchen could have more big bowls big tv was a plus with surround sound a very beautiful cabin and staff was very nice will use them again when in Blue Ridge if you want private Cherokee Sunset is for you!

Stayed here with a significant other and we both has ad amazing time. The view from this cabin was amazing! Its perfectly cozy and comfy. There was plenty of wood when we arrived, and we had a fire everyday! The neighborhood is quiet and everyone keeps to themselves. I would recoomend this cabin to couples and smaller families. The hottub was amazing and the views breathtaking.

Rented the "View From The Top" cabin as a getaway with co-workers, friends, family and so forth. For my first trip to Blue Ridge, I couldn't have done any better as far as the accommodations, location and view. The entire experience was helpful: Lacey Patterson was VERY tolerant of my many emails prior to the trip, inquiring into how many mugs, pots and pans and other cooking items would be at the property (short answer: enough and then some, including a cheese grater). The lovely Delita greeted us upon check in and departure with a genuine affability and tons of insight on where to shop and eat: our visits to the office were short but very memorable becasue of her...and the free samples of Three Sisters fudge didn't hurt either.
Pictures of the cabin itself on the site are very true to life, but that view is beyond description! The homes on the mountain are all managed by MTCR so no worries of riffraff wandering around you, save for racoons and deer families. And while there are cabins that are larger and feature better views of a sunrise or of a creek, the northward view of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the Wrap around deck are unparalleled. No picture can do it justice. The place was spotless upon arrival, beds were suuuuuper comfy AND THE HOTTUB WAS READY AS SOON AS WE GOT THERE. 10 stars!

The interior had plenty of quirks we loved, especially the antler chandelier and even the rustic, quirky uneven staircase (PLEASE be careful on the stairs, though. Everyone tripped and fell at least once on the trip. Further, on the subject of navigation, having stronger floodlighst on teh side of the house would make it a lot easier to find at night, especially in teh fog like what we had to traverse this past weekend to get there.

The home does not have a full size traditional pool table, you only get one key, even if more than 2 adults are renting the cabin, so bear that in mind. Also, the 2 starter "log" sticks per fireplace did a terrible job of igniting a fire, so be sure to bring lighter fluid, long lighters, matches and small starter logs of your own for the two fireplaces and the firepit. Also, paper towels, toilet paper, and dish washing liquid are a must, especially if you plan to cook and party like we did, which was very often.

On the rare occasion you find yourself leaving the cabin, make sure you bring the MTCR discount card. It comes in handy when you visit Harvest on Main to order the sesame seed trout from Robbie (hint hint).
In sum, this was the best time I have had in years and I truly hated to leave yesterday, but I need to keep working so that I can afford to rent this place AGAIN!

Room Tip: View From The Top with a hot tub facing a fireplace iside a screened in porch overlooking the firepi...

We stayed in the "Beary Good Life" Cabin and the experience was incredible.
This Cabin is brand new, very clean and it has a wonderful view of the mountains.
Very confortable bedrooms and perfect for a family of 9 (If they share some of the beds).
The cabins are a little difficult to locate, specially if you arrive at night. There are not many signs indicating the location of your cabin.

I recently spent weekend at Mountain Top Cabin Rentals Downtown Suite. AMAZING simply does not do it justice. We stayed in Suite 1...between the location so centrally nestled in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge, its amazing view of the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway train from our balcony, the California King bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud, the fireplace that kept the room just the cozy right temperature for a fall night in the mountain & the gorgeous oversized bathroom with endless hot water for relaxing bubble baths in the garden tub or nice showers to end the day...we have fallen in LOVE with this place. Located right above the Victorian House restaurant which has fabulous cuisines and steps from the L&L Beanery which is the perfect place for a phenomenal breakfast or cup of joe...you have everything Downtown Blue Ridge has to offer right there. Wonderful friendly staff...Lacy booked our vacation, called the day before we left to make sure we would have no problem getting the keys to the cabin if it was after business hours & had everything organized from a weather schedule for the days we will be staying to a Business brochure with a discount card exclusive to those staying at Mountain Top Cabin Rentals...beyond amazing customer service. We have truly fallen in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains & Mountain Top Cabin Rentals.

Room Tip: We stayed in Suite 1...Gorgeous view from the balcony, oversized bathroom & only suite of the 3...

We stayed in the "Beary Kozy", 2009 ft up with absolutely gorgeous views and a decor that was ideally suited for the cabin lifestyle. My husband & I 'could just feel' the stress of the everyday hustle-bustle roll away from us. The amenities were great. The cabin was clean, had roomy comfortable bedrooms- each with a full bath, gas log fireplace, pool table, arcade game with 35 games, well stocked kitchen and a great tv package-even sirius xm. We loved it and the town was fun too! Dont miss Hucks General Store or The Sweet Shoppe! Mountaintop Cabin Rentals property mngmnt team were very professional. We would recommend this particular cabin vacation for anyone and are planning to come back to the BEARY KOZY in Blue Ridge, Ga. again. It is an upscale experience at a reasonable price. WE LOVED IT!

My husband and I have never been to the mountains. But we knew that when we went, we would definitely want to stay in a cabin and not a hotel! After doing much research online, he booked the "Five Star View" cabin from Mountain Top Cabins. The communication from them was great! They answered every question and made sure we understood where to find their office, how to get the key, etc. We were checking in on Sunday, so they were closed. But their instructions made it very easy for us to find them, get the key and find the cabin. GPS will not help you here! Make sure you follow the typed instructions they give you in your packet.

Our cabin was about 9 miles or so away from the office. It was a beautiful drive. The roads were a little scary after we passed through the gates, but again we've never been to the mountains. All of the roads were paved, but some are very steep! Once we arrived at the cabin, we were so excited! It looked exactly like the pictures online. The cabin was immaculate. Everything was spotless and in it's place, ready for us to arrive. The view from all of the porches was worth every penny!

It had a full kitchen, comfortable queen size beds, flat screen tv, fireplace, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, hot tub, etc. Cell service and wi-fi was great. You literally only need to bring clothes and laundry detergent, maybe some extra trash bags if you're bringing the whole family. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that you need to cook, there were even movies and books in the cabin for entertainment. I couldn't have asked for a better home away from home. The sunrise over the mountains was incredible. We had a great time and will definitely use Mountain Top Cabins again when we bring our boys!

Room Tip: I should have asked about the roads!
