The room was basic but clean and comfortable. We had a room with 2 queens and a view of town. The better view of the mountains is on the west side of the building. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the sun set and stars at night. A hot breakfast buffet is served in the morning. The lobby is very nice with a tv, fireplace and leather couches. They also have rooms with kitchenettes and king/queen suites. Overall, the hotel is very nice.

Room Tip: Please call the hotel to make your reservation. The online services did not offer all the room/suite...

Thank you for the positive review. We do have beautiful sunset from our back patio!!
Come back and visit us during the fall when the combination of the red leaves and the cooler air makes for a great trail hiking.
Thank you.

We are glad you found our hotel very accommodating for your family. We also have a room with a small kitchen that appeals to those who want to stay for several days and enjoy all the outdoor activities the mountains have to offer, since are only 12 miles away from the great Ocoee White Water rafting, a few minutes from the numerous hiking and walking trails and very close to the Blue Ridge Lake.
We hope to see you very soon.

The hotel has a lovely great room with the feel of a lodge with a gorgeous stone fireplace and wood floors. Breakfast was very good - the usual, but with hardboiled or scrambled eggs and sausage/gravy, and ample seating in dining area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My complaint is that the hotel doors to each room SLAM shut, so depending on whether your neighbors are thoughtful or not, you can get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, we had unthoughtful neighbors who entered and exited their room repeatedly until midnight, with the door slamming each time. It started again at 6:15 am...slam, slam, slam. Ugh. At check out I merely wanted to mention that perhaps they should consider a catch on the door, but the front desk personnel was short and snippish with me. Some southern hospitality would have been appreciated here....

Thank you for the positive review about our breakfast and mountain decor. We apologize you did not feel as if you were treated with southern hospitality. We strive to make all our guests as comfortable and as welcome as possible.
We hope to see you again very soon. Blue Ridge will have the second Annual Day of Music and BBQ festival on September 22. Lots of great food and Blues Bands.

We stayed here in June 2012 and it was a nice hotel. It was very clean and our double queen suite was perfect for our family. Were disappointed that there is no pool. Staff was very nice and front desk helped us in the middle of the night when our granddaughter had to go to the hospital. The breakfast was good for continental. Views from every side of the hotel were beautiful mountains.

Thank you for your review. The pool has been in the plans for a while, but with the new ADA requirements it may take a little while longer. I am glad you received the appropriate assistance with your emergency.
Come see us again in the fall when our beautiful mountains turn to a variety of warm yellow, red and copper colors.
Best wishes to your grand daughter for a speedy recovery.

We were in Blue Ridge for a family wedding, and the hotel was fine for us. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable with good pillows (one of them was down, which I love), for a good night's sleep.

The hotel provides free wireless, which was great for researching local hotels and sights. The lobby and breakfast room have comfy couches, and there is a lovely little patio garden with picnic tables, chairs, and a view of the mountains.

There is a great breakfast selection, with both scrambled & hard boiled eggs, waffles, fresh whole fruit, yogurt, cereal and bakery items. The coffee was outstanding.

There were a few negatives that kept this from being a 5. I noticed a vague antiseptic cleaner smell in the hallways, but then in the bathroom there was a sour smell. The lighting in the room was dim. Also, we couldn't get the AC unit, which we were running on fan without cooling, to turn off.

Overall, we liked the hotel and would probably stay there again.

Room Tip: At least on the first floor, the lower-number rooms are near the stairway and were noisy when people...

Thank you for recognizing our efforts to make the hotel comfortable for all our guets. The outdoor patio provides a beautiful view of the sunset over the mountains.
We are sorry you were sensitive to the cleaning products, our housekeepers are very diligent in keeping the hotel spotless and receive often high marks for their work.
Anytime you have issues with the A/C unit, please do not hesitate to contact our front desk and we will send a maintenance person to rectify the problem.
We hope to see you soon, the Blue Ridge Scenic Train is a great way to see the mountains, as it rides along the river all the way to Tennessee.

This was an excellent place to stay! We stayed here at as a layover as I was driving from Macon, Ga to Rabun Gap headed to Chattanooga. This hotel was the half way point and was a great experience after a full day of driving!

There was a sweet gentleman working the desk when we checked in on 6/13/12 who waited on us hand and foot! He made coffee for my mom, gave us recommendations of good places to eat, and discussed with me the best possible route to take to get to Chattanooga.

My traveling party consisted of 4 females from the ages of 67 - 16 so safety is always a concern for me! I never felt uneasy at any time during this stay. Even the other guests were super friendly!

Our room was huge! I think we could have held a square dance in this room it was so big!

The lobby was gorgeous! Wood floors and the feel of staying at a rustic lodge added to the charm of the hotel. The mountain view was beautiful also!

My only complaint about this hotel is that it is 1 1/2 hrs away from Chattanooga, and I couldn't spend the rest of my 3 night trip at this hotel!

If my travels ever find me this way again, this is a hotel I definitely would stay at again!

Room Tip: We had a room with 2 King size beds and it was huge!

Thank you for the positive review. Our Double King rooms are indeed very large, we often call them our "ballrooms" :) We are so glad you enjoyed our hospitality and felt at-home.
We hope to see you again very soon, the apple season will start very soon and the leaves are beautiful in October!

Thank you for the great review, we are so glad your entire family was able to stay close together. The swimming pool has been an issue and delayed due to construction hurdles, but we hope to have an outdoor pool in the near future. We hope to see you again soon, this year the Independence Day fireworks will be on June 30 at the Blue Ridge Lake !!
