We had New Year’s Eve reservations for 6 that were made two months in advance. Luckily, I called the evening before to confirm, as we were out of town guests. They had no record of the reservation. Thankfully, a female bartender went out on a limb and was able to pull a table together for us, as long as we were finished with our 6 course meal on 1 1/2 hours.
We should have left when we saw wait staff making out inside the restaurant while we stood outside in the cold - waiting for them to open doors. We were told we would be seated at 5:20 if we arrived at that time (hoping for 1 hour and 40 minutes). They opened doors shortly after 5:30. The menu was pre-selected that evening. At $60 a plate, it was nothing to write home about. A steakhouse chain restaurant would have been a much better choice. What was even more dissapointing was our server. Aside from the fact that she had no service etiquette, and zero personality, she knew absolutely nothing about the menu. I read so many positive reviews about this restaurant. We were all so very disappointed.
