Ok, so, if you're like me, you're looking for a place to stay, that won't break the bank, and will provide the basics. I live in a tourist-based economy; a town of 8,000 with 70+ hotels, and countless VRD's or Vacation Rentals. Here, a vacation rental, is a house or a cottage. A place with a kitchen and a washer and dryer. A free-standing entity with everything one needs. This property, although lovely, is not that... It's charming, and adequate, but the term 'vacation rental' might be mis-leading to some. It's more like a nice-ish motel room (you can tell they've made some fun upgrades to the property, that def. enhance the stay- patio & grill with lovely landscaping; very comfy beds; nice, retro furniture, etc.), but, it's a bedroom & a bathroom (again, w/ nice updates) in a very classic 50's Florida motel? small apartments? either way, you're renting a motel room minus the front desk. All that being said, that's all about perception; overall, it was a lovely place to stay. Easy walking distance to the beach and Armand's Circle (a plethora of shops and restaurants that are open late). Yes, i would stay there again, and next time, i'll know exactly what i'm purchasing ;)
