The food and service is excellent, the only drawback is the menu options.
I’ve ate here numerous times and the food is always good and the customer service is even better. Their biscuits are big, light, soft, fluffy and delicious. The gravy is always good with small pieces of fresh sausage in it, never tastes like that powder mix junk that another local place uses often. The hash browns and country potatoes are both very good. It’s just good southern comfort food with real, local ingredients. I like the fact they use real shell eggs instead of that liquid egg beaters stuff that most places have gone to now. The owners and staff are friendly and will do whatever they can to accommodate you if you have a special request or dietary restriction. I do wish there was a better variety of meals where you can choose different options instead of having to add or substitute something for an extra charge. Also the choice of smaller portions for adults, like being able to get a kids portion, because not everyone wants to do the $1.50 extra plate sharing option (if your spouse or whoever wants to eat something different) and take home breakfast is pretty gross leftover. I can’t eat a huge meal and hate to waste food, especially with as pricey as it is. All in all, I’d recommend them to anyone, just wish there were more options on the menu than having to “a la cart” items you want and it end up being like $15 for a meal so you can get the choices you want.
