“The top of Georgia”

If your in the area, come visit our highest point. The view is spectacular. There's even a shuttle to help you get up there. There's a lot to learn, but its the view that steals the show

“Highest point”
Reviewed September 16, 2013 via mobile

A must see. Fun ride up, nice restrooms and gift shop. Shuttle bus about every 10 minutes. Bus driver was wonderful. He's plenty knowledgeable about the area. Must watch the video - beautiful pictures and informative. Nice rocking chairs to enjoy the view. Well worth $5 per person. It's a treasure :-)

“Truly an experience !!!”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

My wife, myself and my daughter visited here in august and had a great time. It is the highest point in georgia. On a clear day you can see atlanta. We went on a cloudy day however and could not see a whole lot. There is a shuttle that leaves about every 10 minutes that takes you to the top.The rangers were all very friendly and helpful. When planning a visit here I would watch the weather report and try to go on a sunny day. All in all this is a great place !

“View from the mountain”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

We were traveling with 2 other couples. The shuttle to the top of the mountain was a great way to get there. The driver was very informative about the area and the mountain. We watched the short video about the mountain and it was very educational. All of the staff was friendly and helpful answering any questions we had.

“Go to the Top of GA”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

A friend suggested we go to the highest point in Georgia. The drive up to the park entrance is a steep twisty road, ideal for a motorcycle, pity we were in a Jeep. They have a vast parking lot. We took the shuttle to the observation area and display area, where there are Rangers to help with any questions you may have. The views from the deck are sensational.
The film they run every 30 minutes is a waste of time. It really doesn't say anything about Brasstown Bald, its more of an arty nature film.
We decided to walk back down to the parking lot, this is rather steep in places, but with good shoes is no problem. We happened to walk down with one of the Rangers, who was only too willing to provide details of the trees, the tree diseases and why the observation tower is closed.
