Based on the first review, I was expecting a clean and nostalgic hotel. Let me tell you what I found instead. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, a quick wipe of the counter confirmed the dust/dirt pile up. This is probably the seediest place I have ever seen or attempted to stay at. After payment of one night's stay, I checked out. There were dirt on the sheets, a dust film on the floor - not to mention, the room would get infested with bugs every time I opened the door. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Instead, I would say to stay at the Microtel- it is clean, new and in a shopping area. The fact that the two rooms (Mircotel and Crystal Springs) were the same price is ridiculous. I cannot even believe I paid $65 to stay at the Crystal Springs- it's highway robbery.
