“Fresh, Traditional and Lovely family Taverna! Absolutely not to miss!”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

We went for dinner, we were received by generous smiles, loving people. The service was excellent, down to earth people and very friendly. It seems as a family-run taverna. The food was excellent, only the freshest fish and sea food are available, we tried the octopus, the lobster and the pangros, everything was perfect under the old tree, close to the water in this small port of Faros. If you want a fish oriented tavern in Sifnos, you should definitely try it!!!!

“Delicious fresh fish”
Reviewed May 30, 2014

Right on the beach, this typical restuarant serves seafood caught by the owner. His son, who has an extremely endearing manner and smile, showed me the refrigerator with the day's selection of items. I chose black sea bream, which was grilled and served with a wonderful lemon dill sauce brought in a small jug. The fish was delicious and tender. Before I could ask for the bill, he brought me a perfectly jiggly flan with caramel drizzled on top. I was so happy with this family-run place, that I asked to take a photo of father and son by a framed picture of father working the nets on his boat. Definitely recommended.

“Why?”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

We visited this restaurant at Easter on our second visit to Greece and gave
it a shot due to it's rating on TripAdvisor. Nice setting by the harbor but the
service was chaotic, unprofessional and painfully slow due to a couple of kids
that were waiting on the tables trying to cope with all the parties gathered
there that day. The bread was not fresh because the bakeries were closed for the
holidays but other places we ate during this time grilled the days-old bread
before serving it - they didn't. The food was average and seemed hastily prepared. The
prices were way over the top. You look forward to a good experience when you travel and it was a disappointment.

“Definitely worth a visit.”
Reviewed May 13, 2014 via mobile

After a three hour ferry ride, I was hungry and tired. This place lifted my spirits. Small family run restaurant, just choose your fish and they will cook it for you. As the Mediterranean has been over-fished seafood is not cheap and you are paying per kilo. Because I was solo dining it was a tad expensive, but worth it.
Lovely setting by the harbour, support the locals I say.
