Description: Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine is a family owned business, established in 2005, that offers variety of authentic Turkish food from many regions of Turkey. Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine adapted its name from one of the oldest cities in the world, Istanbul, which was once known as the Constantinople in the early 13th century. The name “Bosphorous” taken from the strait that lies in the center of Istanbul connecting the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, Europe to Asia. The decor of this eatery is kept to minimum to draw the attention to the food. The intent was to create a modernized, warm authentic atmosphere by taking the old elements of Istanbul and combining it with some modern influences to create a truly unique experience.

“great food!”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

We ate at Bosphorus with a group of 8 people and everyone had a great meal. The waitress was extremely helpful and her suggestions were all good. None of us knew anything about Turkish food and she helped us order things we would like. The atmosphere was attractive. It was somewhat expensive but the food was good quality and fresh, so it was good value.

“Great Birthday Suprise”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

I was brought here on my BDay under the impression it was to be a quiet celebration with my two best friends. What I got instead was a surprise party with a lot of my other good friends. Food was great as was the careful service and this made my party really special. Having eaten Turkish food while living in Germany, I was cautious about what might be served here. I was not disappointed. The only drawback for those who enjoyed Turkish food in Germany at the many Kebab for Dürum stands is that this is a more upper crust, sit-down restaurant(well, it is on Park Avenue after all.) with great service and a full bar. Therefore the price is much higher than what you would pay in Germany for Turkish food, which is typically served in a much less formal setting. That being said, there really is NO OTHER Turkish food in central Florida, so where else can you go? That aside, I was impressed with the quality and quantity of food served. It was nice to enjoy good Turkish food in my hometown for a change and I do not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who either knows Turkish food, or, someone wanting to try it. A++++

“Interesting menu, good food, great service”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

After walking along Park Avenue and seeing the food that people were eating outside and tasting the chicken samples that the restaurant was serving to passers by, we decided to have lunch there. The menu had many foods common to the Middle East and some with a "Turkish twist." Each of the three of us got a different entree and they were all excellent and a good value. The service was prompt. The plates were very artistically prepared. Hot was hot and cold was cold. The atmosphere was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. There are a lot of restaurants in Winter Park, but this one merits a return visit.

“If you like lamb or chicken, this is a must.”
Reviewed October 26, 2012 via mobile

We have dined here several times, never a disappointment! We love the stuffed grape leaves, stuffed cabbage, and mixed grill platter. Try the Lavas (hollow bread) if you have a big appetite. Can't wait to eat the left overs tomorrow.

“Nice atmosphere, great food”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Very nice restaurant on Park Avenue in Winter Park. It was packed and busy on a Friday night, but our server was very attentive and efficient. The lavas bread (hollow bread) along with the hummus and babaganoush was excellent as an appetizer. The chicken saute was a delicious entree. And the desserts (if you have room) are very tasty. We shared the Baklava and Turkish Pineapple Delight. They also offer a good wine and cocktail list, as well as draft and bottled beer. Its location on Park Avenue is perfect for a before or after dinner stroll and there are lots of shops and things to do in the area. It was a nice evening out.
