Typical Winter Park style, simple, upper class decor if like the straight no frills looks.. Interesting wine room in glass down stairs . Hanging Beads wall to bathroom (new retro) and updated granite box stream sinks. Usually busy and a easy access corner.

We stopped in here at the end of an evening out for desserts and wine. The service was excellent, the prices reasonable and the desserts were out of this WORLD!!!

Dined here in this modern open plan restaurant overlooking a huge wine room encased in light resistant glass. They must stick many thousands of bottles. However, the wine list is not copious, but is well organized with various price break options for "regular wines" and then a special reserve list.
The food was a revelation, a wonderful Hawaian Kampachi "Mi-Cuit" with huge, contrasting flavours a Delmonico Rib Eye steak served with Fava beans, peas - cooked to perfection and again full of flavor. A delight.
Service was perfect and the wine excellent.
A throbbing atmosphere with people really enjoying themselves in a full restaurant - always a good sign of success.
Highly recommended.

Eclectic menu. We had a party of 6 so we sampled quite a few items. The appetizers were better than the main courses. I expected small portions with a relatively pricey menu and was hoping for some outstanding food. It was just so so. Basically paying a lot for upscale location and ambiance. Service didn't wow me either.

We arrived at Luma on a Sunday evening about 8;00 pm. The place was less than half full. Ordering was quite a challenge as the service staff was thrilled to devote their entire effort to a table of lovely young ladies. We waited more than 15 minutes after ordering cocktails to be served whilst the girls table got stellar service. My martini had olives that looked like they were run over by a lawn mower. The asparagus soup was cold yet the bowl was warm. My Yellow Eye snapper was dried out and the flavour was quite bland. The staff seemed not interested in finding out how the meal was. I'd say avoid this place unless you are a hot young female!
