Hidden away in a shopping area this as a find for lunch. Quick service when we said we had to get to the cinema and the 3 course lunch was fabulous. We both had home-made burgers.

we took time out from our Winter Park excursion to have lunch and chose one of many restaurants in this lovely town. They had a luncheon special which included soup/salad, entree and dessert for $12 if you ordered a drink, which cost about $2. We all had the cream of carrot soup which was delicious. I ordered the spinach quiche that came with potatoes au gratin and there was a choice of creme brulee, portfiterole for dessert. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated and the staff was gracious. A definite excellent recommendation.

Have it your way. You can have a table on the sidewalk and watch the world go by or dine inside. Either way the food is nicely prepared and served. You can order ala carte or they have a daily two or three course meal all inclusive. You have to order a drink to get it but iced tea qualifies. Try the Veal Normandy, it's tender and delicious with a cream sauce.

The bistro has tables on the sidewalk, away from the restaurant and directly outside the restaurant. There is a 'street host' pointing out the menu and the location, which seems unnecessary and somewhat off-putting in swanky Winter Park...especially since the tables on the sidewalk are filled with diners drawing attention to the fact that there IS a restaurant!

The restaurant is largely glassed in. There are numerous tables and there were many diners having late lunches when I visited midweek. There is a reasonable, and light, $11.95 lunch special. (Full menu available) which Includes soup or salad, one entree, and one of three desserts. The caveat is you must order a drink/beverage on the side. A glass of wine runs $8 so lunch quickly pops up to $20 pp. I ordered a bistro salad which was a small, mixed green (mostly romaine) salad that was slightly soggy and limp when served. It was garnished with one slice of a small tomato and one slice of an unpeeled cucumber. I detected some garlic in the oil, as might be served on a Caesar's salad. Warm, white French bread was also served.
I enjoyed the veal in creamy wine sauce. Although the presentation was bland in appearance, with mushrooms and veal in light sauce, it was tender, moist, very flavorful and hot. Servings were small, but adequate for a light lunch. Most diners were ordering from the lunch menu, so I didn't get a chance to see any 'full' entrees. All dishes include potatoes au gratin on the side. It was served in a small casserole dish and was hot, cheesy, and very good.
Desserts consist of small cream puffs (profiteroles), creme brûlée, and a daily special. I deconstructed the special dessert down to a simple slice of warm banana bread. It was fresh and moist.
Overall, it was a good dining experience, but there was nothing truly outstanding. Presentation of food was plain and unembellished. The wait staff were prompt.

I went here with my mom, on a nice "cool" Florida day, and we had a great lunch. We did the price fix menu with a Salad, Entre, and Dessert for $12.95. It was well worth it with a lot of food and nice choices.
