Last week we journeyed 35 miles with another couple to The Cheescake Factory - only to leave $150.00 poorer and with deep regret in our visit. I would rate the entree's as satisfactory, although way overpriced. The desserts were excellent.
What surprised and irritated us involved the unecessary amount of inconvenience of our meal.
Our entree's were not served together so we had to sit for 5-7 minutes (while our food is sitting at the table getting cold) for the final entree to be presented so we could all begin eating together. Only then did one of our diners found that they gave him the wrong type of rice (white vs. brown). Instead of just bringing out a serving of brown rice they took his entire entree back to the kitchen - of which required him to sit there for another 5 minutes waiting for his meal. We found this inconvenience petty on their part and costly on ours - and at $19.95/entree. We were convinced this was our last visit when subjected to such insult and management making no attempt beyond apology for a poorly timed and unecessarily delayed meal.
