At the foot of Morse Street there is a small operation that runs pontoon boats into Lake Virginia and two other lakes connected by canals. It's a relaxing way to spend an hour seeing how the rich and famous have built some beautiful lakefront property narrated by a local who adds a little background to the history.
Cost was a little steep at $12/adult and it's cash only! But they trusted us to ride first and return later to pay after we'd gone to the ATM...nice people.
