“Fun Place! My son loved it!”

Always enjoyed making things out of Lego but seeing all the wonderful cities, characters, and animals was a sight to see!! The rides were very kid friendly. The best ride was in the World of Chima area was the Quest for CHI. My son had a blast on this ride and I think the adults did too! Cypress Gardens was a nice walk garden to walk through.... all the pretty trees, flowers and water fall.
We got to see Wyldstyle and Emmet from the Lego Movie!!

Thank you for your interest in LEGOLAND Florida Resort.

I am pleased to hear that you had such a memorable experience. The Quest for CHI is my favorite water ride. It is not just the usual ride on water experience. I love the interaction with others on the ride as well as the interaction with the non-riding guests who are battling it out with the water shooters.

Thank you for taking the time to share your awesome experience.

Kind Regards,

Kari S.

“The kids get to be in control . . . but its a good thing”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

I can't comment on the Lego building or 4D movies here (done all those at the local Legoland that isn't a theme park and they're great), because we went to this one for the rides. With four kids from 5 to 10, it has an advantage over Magic Kingdom in making a kid feel like they are controlling the ride.

As opposed to "what do you want to SEE next at Disney, here it's "what do you want to DO next". The get to drive their own boat, firetruck, racecar, jousting horse, safari truck, rope pullup . . . there's another layer of decision making you can see in your kids eyes that they're making. Great! And surprisingly, they loved the roller coasters. The shooting water ride was great for a hot day. The waterski show is a unique asset for a theme park (you'll get wet in the front 3 rows).

Tip: Kids for big rides be over 42" tall, 48" to go by yourself
Tip: Go straight to the back of park rides first because everybody starts in the beginning
Tip: Bring lots of snacks, water, lunch if possible. Its expensive!
Tip: Try AmazonLocal for tickets. Big discount!

The bad:
There is a lot of walking. It's different than walking a Disney park - here it just seems so far between things with nothing in between. There's a lot of waiting. They have the new queue play areas which are great, but the proportion of wait time to actual ride time is like 100:1. It's mostly the attendants, they just aren't as seasoned as Disney's. Safety is one thing, but they just don't have the queueing and transitions down pat. All rides are very (too) short.

The paper maps are terrible. They say nothing about each attraction/shop/eats. The signs in the park are more developed. These signs should be printed as the paper maps!

Bathrooms are inadequate at each location. One stall in a bathroom? One family unit? Seriously for a kids park? Hey Legoland, little boys can't use urinals yet!

But overall, its great for the kids. If the water park is open, and kids want to also build legos, I don't know how you would fit it all in for one day between the hours of 10-6pm.

“Fun day!”
Reviewed April 10, 2014

We took our two grandchildren, ages 6 and 10, here for the second time in two years. My six year old grandson had been begging to go back. They both enjoyed all of the rides, especially the roller coasters. MiniLand is amazing--a must see for adults. Park is very clean and employees nice and professional. I rank it on par with Disney. I am excited for the hotel to open--we will definitely return then. I only wish they had more indoor, air-conditioned restaurants. Other than that, I am very impressed with LEGOLAND!

“Fab Time”
Reviewed April 10, 2014

My kids love this park, they are both just over 40" tall and can get on everything. The queue times are very good and the staff are always friendly. The only thing is the diving school licence is quite expensive for what you get , it would be better if the card was thick plastic like a credit card.
The bet thing to do is upgrade 1 of the length of stay tickets for an annual pass and get the discount off the food and the shopping also the parking is free next time you enter the park, 3 visits and you more than get your money back.
Going again in October and already looking forward to it.
