Legopark Florida is a great park for the young crowd. My two boys (3 and 6 years old) love playing legos and were super excited to go to the park. They loved seeing the lego characters come to life. They favorite areas were Chimas, Medieval Castle and Lego City. My 6-years old favorite activity was the Driving School, which teaches youngsters about street signs, safe driving, and then children are able to test their skills on the Lego City streets. In the driving school children are having their picture taken for their Lego driving license. Unfortunately, the price of printed license and the laniard is $16.99 which seems crazy for a piece of paper and plastic. Therefore my little guy is going to have to wait for his first drivers license.
While the attractions are very entertaining, food service in the park is very poor. Food selection is limited to pre-made sandwiched and fast food items. We didn't find in the park any restaurant that offered a good quality meal. We ended up eating in the cafe that served what seemed like subs and wraps made by some caterer who delivers them to the park and refills the refrigerators with this cold, plastic-wrapped chow. All the food was outrageously overpriced.
Additionally, many areas of the park lack trees and therefore so sought-after shaded areas. Hope, this situation will improve with time, as newly planted trees will grow.
Overall, we had great time in Legoland Florida, and we would recommend the place to anyone with small children.
