I took my pre-teen and he loved it, but most of the attractions would be enjoyed by kids around 5 to 9 years old.

wonderful experience, didn't wait more than 15mins. for a ride over July 4th weekend. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and light spirited:) Water park was a lot of fun, got crowded as the day went on, but it was a hot day! Water show was AWESOME!!!! We didn't feel like they were trying to sell us Legos at every corner (like Disney). Lego miniland was amazing! Wasn't overrun by teenagers, which was a nice change. The longest line was for food in the watermark and was really expensive and food was very bland. If you have Lego lovers, then it's a must do!!!!!

Went with my twin 8-yr old nephews and they loved it. Eventhough it rained and a lot of the rides were closed periodically we had a great time. Miniworld was a real treat.

Although the park is best for ages 4-11, there is something for everyone. One of the most fun and manageable parks I have been to.

Great macaroni and cheese too!
Get the watermark addition -- great for cooling off and chilling after a long summer day at the park.

After I had already committed and bought tickets (of course non-refundable), I started reading reviews. If I had read the horror-story reviews first, my family may have missed out on a terrific day.

First: don't pay full price! You can find a free child with adult purchase ticket discount all over the place. Breaks down to about $45.50 per person including the waterpark. Yes parking is another $14, but it is what it is on that. And if you don't get there early, plan on a major hike. Even the close spots are a good distance.

The drive: we came from Treasure island west of Tampa. With traffic it was about 1:45 to get there. Do NOT speed. Cops galore

The park employees: I read reviews that said that the employees were rude and slow. Not sure where those people were on our day, buy everyone from the gate agent thru the ride attendants were friendly.

The rides in main park: we must have went on an odd day. Lines were non-existent. No waits longer than 10 minutes for anything except driving school ( and that thank heavens is air conditioned). The rides are definitely designed with kids aged 10 and younger. Again, know what you're getting into. Your 15 year old will likely be bored. I personally loved miniland!

Food: we ate one meal at the Market near the front. Kids meals of grilled cheese, apple slices and grapes, and a bottle of water for $6. Big bowl of sweet n sour chicken and rice for $9.50 that I split with my wife. $25 for lunch. Not bad.

Water park: bring water shoes!!! Insanely hot walkways! Lazy river great. Kids slide pool was warm water but nice. Wave pool was aggressive but water was 90+! Play areavwithnlarge bucket was much cooler and refreshing! Speed slides were great and so were tube rides.

Overall. We have been to parks all over: kings island, Holiday World, cedar point, Wisconsin Dells, Disney. This place is solid. Just know what to expect! Going again? Maybe not because my kids are growing!

1st time at this park..thought they were all the same. Not so, Legoland had something for everyone, and the cost was very affordable. Example: 4 adults 3 children, we had fried chicken, fries and drinks for lunch..total $38. Rides were for all ages. Water World (part of the park, but an extra cost to use it) was very pleasant..had a great time there too. EVERY park employee was friendly and helpful when asked a question. Plenty to do...loved it so much we upgraded to a season pass. Formerly Cypress Gardens, Legoland has a small section that still is Cypress Gardens..allow plenty of time for photos in Mini World.
