The Hampton is in a good location, close to restaurants, shopping and Legoland. But during our stay we found a used sex toy, while looking for the missing remote. We called and our room was changed, but no mention of the 100% guarantee from them or much other help. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns and this was the worst service we have received. It seems like too little help on a busy Saturday, when the hotel was sold out.

The other room, breakfast and stay was what I expected, but I will not stay here again.

I needed a hotel for a few nights and have always found Hampton Inns to offer decent balance of comfort/price. Had a long flight delay (thanks United) and arrived at 3am. The receptionist couldn't have been more helpful, offering to make me some toast or soup if I was hungry.

There's a Red Lobster (average) and Outback (good) right next door and you can use the guest laundry at the Holiday Inn Express next door if needed.

Me and my husband both work very hard and have been looking forward to taking our children to Legoland when we heard it was opening. I checked out the town online, and made a few phone calls and the end result was Hampton Inn was the place to stay in Winter Haven. Everyone was very pleasant, the hotel was emaculant and very close to some great restaurants. Thank you for making our stay in Winter Haven memorable.

Room Tip: Its behind the Red Lobster, and Outback. Also down the street on the way to the park stop by the CVS/pharmacy they have suntan lotion, sunglasses, beach towels, etc.... the employees there were very helpful and friendly.

We choose the Hampton Inn over the Holiday Inn (which is right next door) because it had a breakfast offered. We normally stay at Holiday Inn Express properties. Check-in was fast and problem free. We stayed for 2 nights @ $77 per night. We consider this a great price for our family of five. Our room was a two queen room. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. The room was just ok in terms of size. We normally put a blow-up mattress on the floor for our third child but there was not enough room without moving heavy furniture. The beds were fine. The air conditioning unit was quite but didn't seem to keep the temperature in the room at a steady temperature. The location was very good because it was close to many options for food and Legoland Florida which was the main reason for our visit to Winter Haven, FL. There is a small business center with computing and printing capabilities. The bathroom was small and the water pressure was low compared to other hotels we have stayed at. The breakfast the following morning was crowed (8AM) and did not offer as many choices as other hotels that offer breakfast. There was a sign that the hotel is in the midst of remodeling the lobby. The lobby is in need of more seating for guests who are just waiting and/or eating breakfast . The property in general seems older than the Holiday Inn next door. As stated above, it was an average hotel that we would probably NOT stay at again as there are other options in the area.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us and giving us insight into your experience. I apologize that there was some maintenance issues and our staff is currently looking into it and will make the necessary repairs. I'm also sorry there were limited breakfast menu items from what you're used to in the past and I'm addressing that with our team. We hope you come back and see our new renovations and let us know what you think. Thanks again.

Kind regards,
LisaJennings

A very nice Hampton with a nice and helpful staff and very large rooms. The only problem we had was the room smelled very musty and the air conditioner didn't seem to cool the room much for a hot December day. There are a few restaurants within walking distance including a
Chick Fil A. Would stay here again when visiting family.
