We're not sure what this other reviewer meant by "pricey" , because for the entree's and portions served here,& the food, which is mouth-watering AWESOME, is a wonderful bargain at it's cost, and there is a huge amount served with each meal, as well. Our entire staff & mgmt. team at "Chef David's Kidz Wishgrant Foundation Charity" in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., met Juan and his son Kenny, and Arturo right after they took over, and folks, E-V-E-R-Y person or client we've brought there for a dinner or sandwich has gone back on their own, after-wards , because of the high quality of the food, and help, and most of the help do speak English, as well, (as to what the other reviewer said, also..!), in this day and age of tight budgets and hard times, every penny has to count, and here, it does, and this is why we return here 3-4 times a week for the "MediaNoche" sandwich, the "Pan con Bacon Chicken Club" sandwich, the espresso's, and good luck trying to get a breakfast seat early morning, because there's usually a lg. customer group there, already, buying the breakfast specials, but it is worth the effort and wait, either way...!! For Cuban, hispanic or Latin food, beverages and desserts, our VERY HIGHEST recommendation , & at great prices and wonderful staff, you absolutely cannot lose...!! DEFINITE 5 for 5 stars.....!!

Very cordially -

Chef David Mitchell -

• All the staff we interacted with didn’t speak English
• Authentic Cuban cuisine
• Has won several awards for their food (Best Cuban restaurant 2007)
• A little pricey, with our entrees around $12
• Canned sodas with cup of ice
• Cozy little diner atmosphere
• Good breakfasts, the potatoes are fabulous

can't go wrong with the food, the pulled pork is great, prices are very affordable, service a bit slow, but if you're not in a hurry, I would recommend

We have been going to Las Colinas for quite some time now, but with this new owner, JUAN, the food is the best it has ever been. We have gone for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have not been disappointed once. The staff is excellent and always friendly. Juan is the greatest and always trying to make us feel like we are family. The food is the best in town, its a mixture of Cuban and Dominican seasoning. MMMMMM DELICIOUS!!! We receommend this restaurant to all of our friends. They even have a great catering business. Go try them out, you do not know what you are missing.
