White Springs Bed and Breakfast

Awesome little place. Judith is an amazing woman who makes you feel welcome for the moment your rice to the moment you leave. Ask for her homemade strawberry crepes while you're there!

This one of those rare gems where you want to tell everyone about it, but you also kinda want to keep it as your own little secret :)

Judith does a great job in providing for her guests. White Springs is a quaint little town and the White Springs B&B fits the town just perfectly. We stay here every year for the Florida Folk Festival

My wife and I found this B&B on the internet. We completely enjoyed our stay. We felt very welcome there and the owner was very helpful. She has what it takes to make our stay wonderful. We found plenty to do on our own and with requested suggestions from Judith. When it was time to leave, we felt we had some new best friends. It is not our first B&B so we have several to compare with and this one we found to be the best, overall, we stayed in. We did go back again and we will be planning another visit soon.

What an unexpected delight! Travel weary and in need of a good night's rest, we found it here. A bit nervous about the one poor review but decided to try our luck and so glad we did. missscarlett 12 must have had a bad day or is impossible to please.

The B and B was lovely. Judith, the owner could not have been more accomodating or more charming. Our room was perfectly situated and very comfortable. Breakfast was first rate and delicious and we loved sitting on the front porch sipping a glass of wine and watching the world go lazily by. The house is an old Victorian that has been well worn and well loved. That's the charm of it..... We will definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Just ask Judith. We needed a quiet room with a comfortable bed and she made sure it happened.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and attractive. The dog was friendly, the cats aloof, add to that a great breakfast and there you have a perfect night's stay.

I'm am a bit puzzled by the previous reviews low marks because my wife and I loved the White Spring B & B. Our room (the Magnolia Room) was spotless and well decorated with period furniture. Judith, the owner operator was fantantic. We enjoyed a glass of wine with her on the front porch and had a great conversation. I asked her about the bicycles before we arrived and she made sure they were ready for action. White Springs is a tiny, but beautiful town with lots of houses built at the turn of the century. It's very close to the Suwannee River, which was very low due to lack of rain, so if boating is on the agenda call ahead and check. Beause White Springs is so small, dining opportunities are limited to a barbecue place and dinners at the historic Tellford Inn on Fridays and Saturday only, which is a short walk away. They serve breakfast and a lunch buffet during the week. Live Oak is 15 minutes away and has more choices. We'll be back

Room Tip: The Magnolia Room is the best in the house

The owner I must say right up front is very hospitible. The breakfast was great.
She offered wine and cheese and drinks, watermelon. No cookies were available which most B and B's put out. Shampoo and conditioner, etc. was upstairs in a bowl. If you have a room downstairs you won't know about it. Also, bring your own hairdryer. I happened to find one in our room and was shocked to see all the conglomeration of junk it was amongst. Everywhere in our room in closests and drawers was stuffed with junk. There were cobb webs in the corners or the room and dust on the lampshade at least 1/4 inch thick. The dog sits at the front door and you have to step over him to get into the house and then the cat meets you too. The cat is not around at breakfast time though. There are dog and cat hair everywhere and there is no air conditioning except for window units. There are no smoke alarms from what I saw, maybe I missed them.
The porch is nice but dirty. There is no where to sit that isn't diry. There is mesh to keep the bugs off you hanging from the porch which if someone with a cigarette could set off in flames in a second. The yard needs lots of work. Our bed was comfy but small. No offer of extra pillows or couldn't not find any either. The place is a fire trap. The owner again is very very nice, but cleaning she does not do.
