HUGE park with playgrounds for kids, lakes for fishing, water skiing, kayak and canoe rentals, bike paths, nature center and big dog park.

Picnic areas are kept clean and have BBQ grills. A really nice place to hang out with family and friends. Good security with patrols.

Okeeheelee park has been a place I have frequented since I was a kid and it is such a blast. They have great running trails and the water sports events they have now and then are really fun to go to.

For any reason you want to leave home and headed to a park this is it. The safest park in America if not in the world; The Palm Beach Sheriff has a station within, the Florida Law enforcement for Transportation is located across the street, over view by the Florida Highway Patrol building from the turnpike, and the Police cruisers and motorcycles trained daily. No grab from behind, no hiding in the bushes or dumping dead body (seriously!)

The dog park is separated into how much the dogs weigh - below 30 pounds and above 30 pounds. Sparky is over 30 pounds and loved to run without being leashed. He makes new friends every time we take him. Take your own water dish - there is a fountain. Can even 'hose' your pet down afterwards! Great place to let them run out their energy.
