“Good food, great service”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

Went to Saito's for dinner since my boyfriend wanted sushi and I wanted hibachi. We were both very pleased with the food and the portions are really large. The atmopshere was very pleasing, especially the waterfall outside on the patio. The outdoor section also overlooks the stage and beautiful water fountains at City Place, which is great when the weather is nice and they have live music. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to couples, families and groups.

“Place for novices”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

Saito is not a real authentic Japanese restaurant. They offer wide range of food, Hibachi table, sushi, tempura and Udon noodle. Sushi is pretty much like Ra sushi or sushi Joe. Other Japanese menu items are prepared by a non-Japanese cook who recently trained by other non-Japanese cook. Things get lost in translation. Teppan-yaki or Hibachi table might be fun but it really depends on the chef assigned to your table. Try Saito for your next birthday if you can’t find Benihana near you.

“Hibachi was good, but not great”
Reviewed June 15, 2012

We dined with friends, while visiting City Place and Palm Beach.
Not crowded, comparing with other restaurants in the area.
We are almost eat alone in huge restaurant on Saturday @ 5PM.
Hibachi experience was good, but not great and "entertainment" was little bit boring.
Good white rise. Service was very good and prompt.
Looks like they working just very simple tricks, nothing special or original.
If you first time @ Hibachi it's OK, otherwise look elsewhere.

“More sodium with you soy sauce?”
Reviewed May 22, 2012

Wide tepanyaki selection menu of fish and meets, BUT... everything was one flavor, soy sauce. Even the sauces when they weren't watered down tasted the same an the worst fried rice i've had and even had tonpay for DO NOT GET THE sushi. I felt bad for the tuna that gave its life because they I'll prepared it.

“Saito's Japanese Steakhouse”
Reviewed May 6, 2012

Service was a little slow but it was a packed house. They complimented you if they didn't bring something or forgot something. Bartenders were overwhelmed and took a while to get drinks served. The waitress stations was not in a good location for the waitresses, they were literally running into each other coming out of the kitchen area, LOL.
