We stayed here for a visit. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Lunch bags...thoughtful. Wifi was terrible :(
Swimming pool and patio was amazing! Rooms were cool. It is outdated some of the things but overall for the price...it's good as it gets. Give it a whirl:)

I only stayed one night this trip (I have stayed here before), but it was very pleasant. The lobby and breakfast area are impressive. The staff is very welcoming, and the lobby has the feel of a much pricier hotel. The room was a suite and was spacious and clean. The property is in very good condition. It is located by the Florida Turnpike, with restaurants and some stores nearby. This hotel has a medium amount of television channels to choose from and faster internet than many. The front desk called to check whether the room was right and was cheerful and professional.

My wife and I, along with 6 of our friends, stayed here for an athletic Competition in late April. When we first entered the lobby I was impressed. This excitement vanished quickly. Let me begin by saying that the staff at this hotel is wonderful. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. They were extremely nice, helpful, and knowledgable. However, the hotel itself is badly in need of some work. It was obvious that this was an older hotel that had been remodeled. This is not a bad thing, by itself, as all new things eventually become old things in need of repair. The biggest problem, in my opinion, was that it seemed as though the beds had been there since the early 80s. It is no stretch to tell you that my bed felt like a Vietnam era Army cot. Absolutely terrible. I have had more comfortable nights sleep in the woods in a tent. Also, the entire 2nd floor smelled like smoke as there were several smoking rooms on the floor. Keep the staff, re-evaluate the hotel itself. Only then will I return.

Stayed: April 2012

Thank you for your feedback Brad -

We certainly do take pride in our staff and we strive to give the best service. As for the condition of the hotel, we have completely renovated our lobby area, which turned out beautiful and have plans to begin the renovation process on the guests rooms - including new matresses!!! We still have our clean, fresh Hampton Inn Bed policy and keep our guest rooms clean and fresh. I do appologize, we do have a small section of smoking rooms on the 2nd floor.

All-in-all - thank you again and we hope to see you soon!

Spent three nights here in March; it was fine. Nothing outstanding, just a hotel on the turnpike.
We were gone alot during the day but our room was serviced each day. We tipped well, nothing was taken and so we can't complain! I will however point out that there is an ice hockey rink closeby and one night there were several cars with loud music, but that's just teens out on a spring break night sounding off. It was quite enough inside the hotel, and we had a nice stay.

What stands out at this Hampton Inn is the staff. You are greeted immediately when you walk through the door and they all seem to go out of their way to serve. For example, upon check in we could not find a luggage cart, and the front desk person immediately volunteered to look on all the floors to get one for us. This Hampton served warm fresh cookies every night at 7, and if we were in the lobby, were approached offered one on a tray. Every staff member looked us in the eye and greeted us wherever we were in the hotel. So refreshing.

The pool area was great, with plenty of seating and a water feature. The breakfast attendee was very helpful and happy. The entire property was kept very clean.

There are several restaurants in the parking lot of this hotel, including a sports bar called Duffy's that we enjoyed a great deal. 2-for-1 all the time after 4pm! The food was great there too, and lots of TV screens for sports.

I definitely recommend this property!

Room Tip: Larger rooms are towards the center of the hotel X06-X20 for even, X09-X23 for odd. Odd numbered rooms face the pool and road, so even numbers probably a bit quieter.
