“Lush and Beautiful”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

I was so surprised to find such a serene and lovely tropical garden so close to the PBI airport. The plants, trees, and flowers are astounding. Great place to take photographs.

“Ten Stars!!!”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

I do not know how anyone who travels to this area would want to miss this garden. The volunteers work very hard to keep up the grounds and it shows. A great variety of flora, well labeled and our "go to" venue for out-of-towners. We go there a lot ourselves and enjoy strolling through to see what is new, what is in bloom and just "chill out". The only "downer" is it is adjacent to PBIA but the noise is easily ignored amongst the splendor of this beautiful treasure

“Great little hideaway!”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Great little hideaway where you would least expect it - tucked away behind the Palm Beach International airport. The garden was beautiful and well maintained. Lots of little side paths to explore with hidden treasures. Ample garden benches through out so you can relax and enjoy the peace and beauty. The gardens were larger than we expected, very quiet with a nice variety of plants. There were some new exhibits under construction. Looking forward to visiting again in the cooler weather. Free admission with $5.00 suggested donation to help maintain the gardens.

“Beautiful gardens, fun activities available weekends”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

For gardeners, the Mounts gardens are a must to see and support, financial and by volunteering. We do not mind the heat and humidity, and are in awe of the beauty and the work that it takes to maintain them. I would give this 5 stars, except that there is still much to accomplish. Parts of the original gardens were destroyed by hurricanes, and the reorganization and development of the new gardens are not quite finished. As any gardener knows, with changing climate and weather patterns, the plants must change too!

For non gardeners, the gardens are beautiful and best appreciated in good weather. During the week the atmosphere is peaceful, and on most weekends there are activities for families (less peaceful?), workshops, plus sales of exotic plants, books, meetings of plant societies, and more. Check out the website for the calendar. Artists sometimes bring easels and sketch / paint.

There is a suggested entrance donation of $5.00, unless one is a member. I do not know how strictly this is enforced.

“A hidden paradise”
Reviewed July 21, 2012 via mobile

No one can imagine the beauty this place encloses. The bridge was recently renovated and it kind changed the rustic aspect of the garden, but it didn't take away the magic of the place. The staff is very friendly and professional, you can see how much dedication is put into the maintenance and how much respect for the preservation of the environment. There are always volunteers helping keep the place clean of weeds. Anyone visiting West Palm Beach should come and take a walk in this hidden paradise. There is even a butterfly garden, so if u are into photography this place is a must for u!
