I stayed at the Marriott last July and was thrilled to have found this outstanding restaurant at the Marriott. Like other reviewers when was the last time you really raved about a hotel restaurant?! I am happy to report during a recent March visit to West Palm Beach I ate at the Bistro and the food remains delicious! In fact we had a meeting scheduled at the hotel and I came early to have lunch and we wound up ordering from the restaurant for dinner. The fish of the day I had for lunch was wonderful and the organic chicken for dinner was cooked perfectly. What makes their dishes so good are the accompanying vegetables which are grown in a garden on the hotel grounds-fantastic! The restaurant is a must if you are staying at the Marriott and certainly worth the drive if you are not.

The menu is just right, the food is good, the service is fine. A great convenience when staying in the Marriott and a happy find.

Who would think that such a good restaurant could be in a hotel? If you're staying there, of course you'd go, but if you live in the world outside, not likely. But we've gone to Bistro 1001 several times because it's proximate to the Kravis Cultural Center where we attend concerts and I usher.
In a word, the food is delicious. The presentation is first-rate, the service very attentive and the atmosphere quiet enough to enjoy conversation.
Our last visit was also prompted by a review in our local paper. The food critic liked the Bistro too, and mentioned some dishes, which we tried. Her suggestions were very enjoyable. I hope her review doesn't bring hordes of people (which it might) because we have considered this place our "best kept secret."
We also had the added incentive of a Restaurant-dot-com voucher which helped defray some of the tab (although we find the cost of the meals there quite reasonable, considering the excellence of the fare.)
This one is a winner.

We (2 couples) were extremely impressed with our meals. Sooo tasty. Great range of types of choices/ sizes and prices. Well presented and definitely now our "go-to" place when in West Palm Beach. The service was not excellent but the waiter tried hard and was very nice and helpful with the food choices. The loved the opportunity to have local craft beers (did the sampler). This was a pre-Kravis dinner and was happy to be told of the available shuttle (nice evening so we walked)

We were in town for a show at the nearby Kravis Center, and friends chose this restaurant for us to meet at. It's hidden in the back of the Marriott Hotel, but once found, it's not a bad joint. We ate early, so the staff weren't at full strength, and the room had a not-quite-open-for-business feel. A glass of house wine ($9) at the bar gave us time to assemble our party, and the meal was excellent. I had to wade through some showy dishes to find a more basic entree for my simple tastes, and was utlimately very pleased with a a lots-of-adjectives roast chicken. Others loved their meals as well; no complaints other than somewhat inattentive service.

Tip: if the weather is decent, walk to the Travis Center if you're ther for an event. Getting there in a car from the restaaurant is difficult, and once there parking is the worst nightmare I've ever seen. It's a 5-minute walk.
