Napolean bakery
On a busy street in west palm beach a nicely maintained Spanish style stucco building is home to one of the few remaining original mom and pop bakeries in palm beach county. What makes this bakery so unique is the Spanish and Basque delicacies proudly prepared by the proprietor and her sons. Stepping into napolean bakery is stepping into Madrid or Barcelona or San Sebastian. The breads, pasties, savories, tapas are delightfully authentic and delicious. The staff are all exceptional and friendly and eager to make their customers happy. The warmth of the family operated business and delicious lunch items  create a cult following. Bring a friend or two to this incredible establishment for an inexpensive culinary Spanish /Basque experience. You will be amazed.  Simple , unpretentious and superb. Highly, highly recommended!

From torrijas to fuet, the pastries, the bread, this place is a gem, the atmosphere is casual, very friendly, the family who runs this place was very helpful and ready to offer us to try their food, a sample here a sample there, the tapas delicious. I´m a native spaniard and I had a great time there, I left with a box full of in house cured chorizos, pastries from my childhood, apple tart, and determined to spread the word and go back often. Their prices are very reasonable, I can´t wait to go back for a sit down ¨comida¨ and enjoy the good food, good company and wonderful service at this ¨tasca vasca¨!!!

This place really needs a deep cleaning. The food is ok. Not a huge fan of seeing hot food displayed on the counter then re heated in a microwave. Especialy eggs :(

“Like eating in Mama's Kitchen-fabulous”
Reviewed May 20, 2012

I am a regular here now. The place is owned by a mother and her two sons..family is orignally from Baque, and speak French, Spanish, and English. Atmosphere reminds me of a tiny bakery in Italy. In addition to the incredible made from scratch cakes and pastries, the mom cures all the meats and sausages..herself...that they serve in the Deli. The two sons do most of the baking and the mom shares in the cooking. Lunch time is a fabulous array of tapas, homeade soups, homemade mushroom pizza, paella..or they will make you a beautiful sandwich for about $5.00. Great espresso, and they also serve a delicious Beligan chocolate milk. There are about 4-5 rustic tables and a few barstools to sit at. When I went for a wedding cake sampling, they just kept feeding us and feeding us..it was like sitting in their kitchen! This is one local business worth supporting and I am thrilled they are making my wedding cake and doing some catering for me. Juan is a great guy..and he talks about his mom's cooking with such pride! They are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

“Nothing fancy, just delicious pastries and food”

Family-owned Napolean is the real deal. Staff makes you feel welcome and right at home. Not a bad spot for a very casual lunch with mouth-watering food. Also the best place to get a cake.
