“No complaints here”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

Had recently eaten here with co-workers and thought it was good enough to return for my wife's birthday. It did not disappoint. The duck dish is delicious as is the lamb special I had on this visit. Jerome was a friendly, attentive and courteous server. The word 'appropriate' comes to mind. He had great familiarity with the wine menu and recommended a wine that we enjoyed. Almost forgot, the first time I visited I sat next to the last finalist for Top Chef, so they must have some street cred. I hope this place sticks around and we will return!

“Great Parlay With Dramaworks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

We prefer to eat outdoors as indoors can get very noisy. Wonderful French bistro. If you are going to see a show at Dramaworks, this is a great place to eat.

“Delicious Food Great Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

Got to this restaurant because of the $25.00 certificate from restaurant.com. We will definitely go back again. The ambiance is wonderful. Makes you feel like you are in Europe. We loved the special salad. Presentation was lovely. The breast of duck with a loganberry sauce was excellent. No dessert, we were too full of the great food.

“Great Servers/Good Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

The servers in the restaurant went above and beyond to make our dining experience very enjoyable. The food was very good but not anything outstanding. The cheese plate was nice, as were the escargot, but the classic Coq au Vin was overly dry and tasted slightly 'reheated'. The duck breast was a much better choice and was perfectly cooked.

“The Disney World of bistros.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012

Atmosphere can only take you so far, but like Disney World or the Vegas Strip this is just a facade. Yes, it is very parisian in both design and menu but that is where it ends. The escargots while plump, were for want of a lesser term "dry" in texture. The typical bath of garlic, butter and salt (needed more salt) did nothing to enhance this dish. The Frites in truffle butter were soggy, and way to salty. Lastly, the moules and frites can be described as "Purely Enemic". The PEI mussels were miniscule is size. You could easily fit two or three on a shrimp fork. The broth was flavorless, but at least these accompanying frites were crispy. Putting cheap imitation to the forefront, and catering to American tastes, they were served with only ketchup. We were not offered the traditional mayonaisse or aoili. Desserts were actually very good. One colleague had the Creme Brulee while I had the very tasty Profiteroles.
With all the other choices along Clamitis Street, this would not be among my first choices.
****They do offer "WINE WEDNESDAY'S". A very nice selection of wines at 50% off.
