Went to see the Annie Leibovitz portrait exhibit part of the museums collection and ending up staying much longer then planned. For 12 dollars you sure get your money's worth

“Don't Miss This Museum!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2013 via mobile

The Norton Museum is a must visit for your trip to West Palm. The collections are vast considering the size of the museum. I have always enjoyed the special exhibits. A tour with a docent will enhance your experience.

“An absolute gem, world class inventory in a tiny local package”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2013

From its tucked in little location on the very edge of West Palm Beach, nearly a stones throw from ritzy Palm Beach, The Norton Museum of Art bedazzles visitors with an absolutely awe inspiring collection of world-renown artists. A very rescale spectrum of classical to modern art works, tastefully displayed in a setting one would expect to see at MOMA, or in LA or NYC. An unbeatable value for the admission price. A no-brainer must-see if visiting Palm Beach or WPB. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

“What a wonderful gallery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

So, when I agreed to go to the Norton Gallery last weekend with my wife, little did I realize what a wonderful experience it would be. The Norton has a wonderful permanent collection that includes it's share of Impressionists, including Monet, Pissaro and Degas. It also has a wonderful collection of Chinese bronze and pottery that was unexpected. Also unexpected was the quality of two exhibits. The first was a large exhibit of British design and art during WWII, "Keep Quiet and Carry On". It was wonderful. The bonus was a terrific Exhibition of Annie Leibovitz photographs featuring celebrities, of course. This exhibit runs through June 9th. Don't miss the only photo I've ever seen of Mick Jagger with a full beard. Oh yes, have lunch there. The Cafe 1451 is much better than we have any right to expect.
