At Buca, guests delight in our lively atmosphere, enjoy the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and admire our decor, including family photos and candid shots of Italian-American icons, such as Sophia Loren and Joe DiMaggio. “Best for casual family get-togethers, keep expectations low”
Reviewed May 26, 2012

Lots of large groups there to celebrate graduations and birthdays get the waiters with large red candles coming around to sing and clap. Large servings to share family style, especially the brownie/ice cream sundae. Uncomfortable booth in bar, but waitstaff enthusiastic. Popular spot, ok food. For five people ordered-all small- cheesy florentine bread, margarita pizza, Shrimp linguine florentine, spaghetti and meatballs, broccoli (too spicy for some in our group), cannoli and brownie sundae. Ate all except took some of the leftover spaghetti home.

“Great mid priced italian experience. Groups love it.”
Reviewed March 18, 2012

We arranged a function here through Alane. She was amazing and the facility did an excellent job of providing for our group. Everyone just loves the traditional italian food and the quantities of it. The decor is eclectic and provides an interesting side interest for the guests. Wellington is a great area so you cant go wrong.

“Went from great to barely ok”
Reviewed March 18, 2012

Food use to be outstanding, but it has seemed to have slipped. Not sure if they are buying cheaper food or if they changed chefs and he does not know how to cook. But friends and I all agree this place has lost ground.

“You have to be in the mood for Family Style ...”
Reviewed March 17, 2012

Many people hear Family Style and think nothing of it. But if you are a picky eater or like things cooked to order, this is not the place. If your party likes mostly the same items, this place has excellent choices for large family dishes. The lasagna is probably the best there is. Didn't care for the soups, but the chiken cacciatore is delightful and the desserts all top notch. Good choice especially for families willing to share.

“This restaurant is losing it!”
Reviewed March 3, 2012

The quality of the service and the quality of the food has decreased in recent months. Not sure why this happened, but not planning on a return visit anytime soon.
