Glen Lakes Country Club has a beautiful setting. However, the food is not consistent. Friday night prime rib is great. But some of the other offerings throughout the week are not always good.

Very very disappointed this year. My family and at least a dozen other people had to wait for plates! We watched this happened at least five times during our stay. When the plates game out they were wet and MANY of them dirty! Are the service people blind? Or do they not care! The buffet table was covered with food droppings. Disgusting! Someone should have been cleaning up spills and checking for empty trays. Several trays were empty and very slow to be replaced. The salad was unappetizing. We had to wait, or leave, without the shrimp, beans, stuffing or turkey white meat. We were served one very small slice of turkey, steak or ham and had to ask for another.
Not enough wait staff. Ours was slow and inattentive. The desert room ran out of things. We were not the last sitting. Not that that would matter. The desert display was poor. The service reminded me of my high school cafeteria.
Not going back again.

People must be used to sub par food to rate this place as anything but average at best. Ordered oysters they were not fresh or cold. Red snapper meal was dry as a bone. I asked for the fish that to be dry grilled but, wow, I didn't know that meant dry and no flavor. I've ordered fish prepared like that before and have never experienced such a nightmare on a plate. The vegetables were frozen from a bag consisting of broccoli-rabe stems and a mushy medley of others. The only bright note was the wait staff; very attentive and personable.
