“Adult Time !”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

The Green Cabin Room was a great place for the adults in our group to relax away from the kids and wind down. We enjoyed the live musician that was there and the ambiance was Old Florida and super cozy. We had local beer and the service was fast and friendly. We will return !

“Don't count on Disney for great food.”
Reviewed June 29, 2013 via mobile

We visited The Green Cabin Room during our stay at the Disney Vero Beach Resort. We ate lunch here during an afternoon rain storm. The conch chowder was tasty, but the portion size was very small considering the price. We also shared a flatbread which was a little overcooked, but decent tasting. It took a long time for the waitress to check on us, and to bring our cheque.
While we enjoyed passing the time there, we likely would just order drinks if we were to return since the food was not very good value for the money.

“Surprisingly bad experience at the Green Cabin Room”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

Let me start by saying this was one of our favorite little places back in the early 2000s when Shelly was there for those in the know. Anyway we went there Sunday May 5 2013 and things started bad and went downhill from there. The server was a middle aged male with a bad attitude. OK he was a little busy but could have been pleasant. He was not. He came out with no greeting and said, "what do you want". No hello, no greeting nothing. Just whoa is me. I'm busy. Wow! With a start like that it was over. And yes the food was awful. The pizza was cold, they ran out of wings. Just horrible. Travelers beware. Disney needs to hire more (and better) staff. Stay away from this restaurant.

“Good for lunch, less so for dinner”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

We went to the Green Cabin Room twice (it's really the bar at Disney's reort, with limited food service). The first visit was for lunch. The menu had a variety of offerings- sandwiches, flatbreads, etc. We both had the Mahi Mahi BLT, which we really enjoyed. The service was so-so. We had to ask for our bill a couple of times. We returned another day at dinnertime, expecting to have the Mahi again. We were surprised at the very limited dinner menu - primarily one burger and the flatbreads. We thought about leaving, but decided to stay and share a couple of flatbreads. They were quite good. The service was again spotty. It took almost 45 minutes to get our first flatbread ("A large party came in and the kitchen got backed up") - the second came in a more reasonable time. The verdict - go for lunch, go elsewhere for dinner.

“Yes, Disney!”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

The Green Cabin Room's covered outdoor porch on the 2nd level of the Disney Resort is one of the few places north of Vero Beach on the barrier island that you can eat quality bar food(substantial portions), have excellent drinks (a fine margarita), good service, and watch and hear the ocean from high-top tables. On cooler evenings the indoor seating is in comfortable easy chairs in a relaxed bar setting. A limited menu includes a tasty Rock Shrimp dish, several flat bread pizzas, an excellent hamburger, and some of the best chicken wings, all priced under $15.00. Arrive after 7:30 and seating has, for us, always been available.
