Beautifully done. Loved our night there. Wine was nice. Bed super comfy. They seem to have thought of everything. Absolutely loved the Valet attendants recommendation for dinner and what a nice guy! Thanks we will be back.

After researching for 3 months on where to spend our 30th anniversary, we decided to go back to Florida, where we met and married. When I found Kimpton Hotels were luxury that allowed pets, saw the pictures, and contacted the concierge, I booked. We have a 7lb. mini-dashaund. We had a 1bedroom oceanfront on the 4th floor end building. We stayed 5 nights and wished we never had to leave. The suite, hotel, and grounds inside and out were beautiful. The staff are first rate. As a former flight attendant I can be picky, this hotel out did itself to make our trip perfect. Can't wait to go back. You don't get service like this very often anymore.

Room Tip: suites have full kitchens and are huge, corner suites more windows

We had a quick two nights at this hotel and couldn't have been happier. Wish we could have stayed longer. My husband had business in Vero Beach on his birthday ~ so I came along with him. We were there on Wednesday and Thursday nights in October and the hotel was 50% occupied on Wednesday night. Suited us fine. We were able to upgrade to an ocean front room for an excellent rate.

We loved our room (205), the view, the cookies at 3, wine at 5, coffee in the morning etc. We took advantage of the complimentary bicycles at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the laid-back, old Florida feel of Vero Beach. The weather was gorgeous . . . pool sparkling . . . ocean just steps away from the hotel. Happy Hour at Cobalt was really great. Don't miss the hummus and flatbread.

Despite our visit during the slow season, the hotel was fully staffed which is something that's not always the case at other hotels during off season times. The service was impeccable in all areas including front desk, valet, pool, bar and restaurants. We did find that two local restaurants were both closed for vacation but we enjoyed our meals at the hotel's Cobalt restaurant. We also enjoyed the Lemon Tree (biking distance) for breakfast.

My only cautionary note is that this hotel is a very popular wedding destination. There were two weddings this weekend. We were slightly overwhelmed when the hard drinking, potty-mouthed 20-somethings took over the relatively small pool and bar area beginning Thursday about noon. To the hotel's credit, they asked the wedding folks to move to another area and they complied. We left on Friday morning so I don't know how the rest of the weekend unfolded with this rowdy wedding party. If you're making reservations over a weekend, it might be worth asking if there will be weddings and what kind of crowds they expect.

Overall, we loved Vero Beach Hotel and Spa and highly recommend it. We hope to return.

Room Tip: Splurge for an ocean front room. You won't be sorry. We initially reserved the lowest price ro...

My travel party and I stayed two nights at this property after a Disney cruise. We were there in early October, so the place was relatively empty. We had a two-bedroom ocean-view suite, which was immaculately clean and very well appointed. Huge beds, a beautiful master bathroom, and a large balcony were highlights of the suite. The staff was friendly (although nothing like what we had just experienced on the cruise!), the pool was wonderful, and the restaurants were excellent, especially Cobalt. Wifi is free if you join Kimpton's frequent guest program, and we also got a $10 minibar credit. The beach is wonderful and just a few yards from your room!

Room Tip: You're at the beach - get an ocean-view room!

My husband and I recently stayed at this resort as wedding guests. The resort was so relaxing and accomodating, the weekend was great! We arrived late due to a delayed flight but the front desk was still friendly and eager to explain all of the amenitites the hotel has to offer. We stayed in a large room overlooking the pool area and the room was a great size to spread out, enjoy a day at the beach, and have room to prep to attend a wedding. The workout room was small, but I only needed a treadmill and plenty of water, the equipment was clean and the room did not smell (like other hotel workout rooms I have been in). Laying out on the beach all day with bar service was EXACTLY what we needed to relax. The drinks were great and the food was good as well. The service was a little slow, but with how busy the pool/beach was, this can be expected. We ate breakfast was the restaurant twice and both times were very good. The wedding reception was in the same restaurant, and that food was amazing!!! All in all, great wedding, great hotel, great mini-vacation.

We stayed here for three nights in September on a trip from France to visit family. The beach setting was perfect. Cocktails at night around the fire-pit was relaxing and our diner outstanding. Our room was large and the bathroom well equipped: The staff was friendly and helpful. This would be an outstanding hotel at 4 times the price, so it is a good value also.

Room Tip: We liked the second building the best.

This is our first stay at a Kimpton Hotel. It was very nice. I really loved the property! So pretty and calm and be beachy/tropical. The pool was a little crowded and small for the amount of people that were there but I still loved the style and cozy tropical feel. (There was wedding there so more people than usual were probably there). I loved the decor and they upgraded us to an amazing 2 bd room suite overlooking the ocean. Get the 4th floor if you want to see the beach because the palm trees are taking over the views. I would have been disappointed staying in a suite staring at the trees. They really should remove at least half of them and replant them over by the gazebo where there needs to be some trees. The food was very good!!! and we are so picky about food. The spa was very small but soooo great also!! My body wrap was perfect and yummy and Amanda did such a great job. My facial was so amazing with Aimee!! I'm really thinking I may drive back every month (1.5 hrs.) to see them. Oh it was just such a great little short trip for us! I would recommend that they put a towel guy near the beach exit and also have someone put chairs out without asking. We did enjoy the cookie's for kids at 3:00 and the Wine time at 5:00 for adults and the all you can eat buffet by the pool was great. Also the live music was great! The guy on sunday I preferred better than the saturday guy though.
The resturant was good I would just recommend having a kid's menu and also have Allergy safe food options for the kid's. They put Walnut powder in the pancake's which was a surprise we almost missed and would have sent our daughter to the hospital for that. yikes. With all those suggestion's I still loved it there and felt pampered by everyone including the Valet who was great and the Spa lady's were super!!

Room Tip: They use Green cleaning products which was so nice because I could breathe easy. yay! Also I would...
