This place has become a favorite place for my wife and I and to take guests that we want to show a good time. Parking can be a problem. They have a parking lot with attendant that helps direct you to whatever parking there is. If you arrive after 6 you may very well have a parking problem that could require a walk from a block or so away.
They are so busy they don't take reservations for parties less than 5. That is a draw back for two couples. However they close after lunch and open for dinner at 5 PM. If you are "in-line" a bit before 5 they will take your name and call you when they open for dinner and have a table for you. The peak season for all tourist attractions in this part of Florida (Central East Coast) is December through March and somewhat into April. This place is not only a tourist attraction it is just a great restaurant, with gift shop and fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean. If you are lucky enough to get a table on the beachfront you can almost touch the waves at high tide.
The appetizers are fantastic (we have tried several). The house Chardonnay is a California wine that could rate with the best wines from anywhere in the world. With 4 people a bottle is just about right. We have tried about 1/2 the entrees on the menu and have found none of them wanting for quality, quantity or flavor. The wait staff is always nearby and very attentive. The kitchen staff must have many items pre-prepared as the wait is never excessive. I never leave this place without wanting to give everyone a special thanks for a nice experience. Yes, you need to have some room on your credit card or $$ in your pocket but sometimes things are just worth the cost.
