“The best Burger in Town”
Reviewed November 28, 2012 via mobile

The burger for $9 comes with everything. I ordered medium rare and it was huge and perfect. The sauted mushrooms and carmelized onions were a perfect match. It was so good i forgot to use mustard. Had to use a knife and fork! The fries were also incredible, better than micky Ds!

“Forget those old reviews!!”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

Seven weeks ago new chefs arrived at this long established restaurant. Before it was "ok", but nothing to write home about. We had heard there was a new chef, so decided to try it, and we were very glad we did. Excellent lunch finished off by an awesome piece of chocolate layer cake.
Now we will want to try it again for dinner, which I suspect will be terrific too.

“The Patio Returns - With Good Food and Big Crowds”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

The Patio is an historic Vero Beach building that was built and decorated by Waldo Sexton. Spanish maritime items and stained glass windows are still there. Like many Vero residents we recently returned to the re-opened Patio, hopeful to find good food. With the owner of The Tides now running The Patio, we were optimistic. Well, we went for dinner just before 6 PM on a Friday and it was really, really busy. Both bars were full and we lined up with a lot of hopeful diners. It took 30 minutes for us to be seated.

The food was very nice. Both the fish of the day (Mahi) and the prime rib dinner were very nice. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Serving staff were plentiful, and it's a good thing, because The Patio is really popular.

Good (not great) food for a good price in a venue that is unique. We're looking forward to returning soon.

“the "new"patio restaurant”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

We were excited to try the newly opened Patio and we were not disappointed. We were the at happy hour and sat at the indoor bar. Our bartender was pleasant and friendly. We ordered the philly cheesesteak and nachos and a cosmo and rum n coke. Drinks were great food even better. Great menu, reasonably priced. Patio has a great old decor and looks great. Recommend for lunch, dinner, late nite or happy hour. Will definitley be back!
