Four of us went to dinner Sunday night. I had the taco and burrito combo plate. Not the best or worst Mexican I have ever had. The refried beans and rice were fantastic. We also got the Jalepeno Poppers for the appetizer, they were very good. Will definately go back if we are ever in the Vero Beach area again.

Dirty windows, poor service, only OK food. Hard to mess up Mexican, so that's not saying a lot.

Anyone who has been to Chicago, and eaten at Rick Bayless' Mexican restaurants will not want to go to this place. Ay Jalisco signifies the wide spread of Mexican culinary offerings, and is at the near bottom, while Mexican food can be glorious.

If you want a mediocre Margarita and have mundane and tasteless Mexican food, this is your spot. The prices are reasonable and the servers are ok, but it is truly amazing that in a beautiful area like Vero and Sebastian, this small chain does so well while being so mediocre at best. As Barnum once said, you can not underestimate the taste of the American public.

Three of us had dinner there and we will return. We went to the Miracle Mile location (next to Publix) as opposed to the location near State Road 60 and 20th Avenue. The atmosphere is typical strip plaza with small booths that can accommodate four people. They have the ability to seat larger parties in back. The food tasted "authentic" and was reasonably good and priced fairly. We will return. I would not rate it "exceptional" or "very good" but the fact that I plan to return should be interpreted as a good sign.
