We met friends for dinner at Ruby Tuesday because we had discount coupons, which makes a nice restaurant even more attractive. The Ruby Tuesday chain does several things we particularly like: 1) the salad bar, which has a reasonable selection and is refreshed frequently, can be one of the side choices at no extra cost; 2) the vegetable sides are healthy and nicely cooked and 3) calorie counts are included for a number of the menu items. Seating is comfortable, service is friendly and is usually attentive. Aside from the lower calorie selections, portions are quite generous. My husband loves the big and delicious burgers. I like very much like the Chicken Fresco.
Ruby Tuesday is a popular place and frequently offers discount coupons so it's often very crowded--this is especially true during season (i.e., October through April) when everything around town is crowded. It's not quite as bad in the summer, but reservations are still a good idea. We've not found the music overly loud when we've been there, but we usually try to sit in a booth along the windows because it's a little quieter overall.
