I went there on Christmas Eve for a lunch with my son. He got a burger that was OK but the fries were crisp but greasy. The wait staff re-filled the water glasses when we requested but the refill glass of water my son got was two shades of yellow compared to mine! It really grossed me out!

This is really a hit or miss spot on the beach in Vero, and when it is a "hit" it is only just acceptable.

The location is lovely, but that's about it. The restaurant smells faintly of vomit, and the drinks were made using the poorest quality liquor available. If you want a cocktail, be sure to request a top shelf brand or you may be unpleasantly surprised. We requested chicken nuggets for one of our teenagers, who has special needs and will only eat chicken nuggets and were told that they are only allowed to serve those to kids 12 and under or they get in trouble. Imagine, leaving a kid hungry instead of serving something to everyone dining at your restaurant? Unforgivable. The food ranged from utterly forgetable to overcooked and barely edible. The server had no remorse for any of this, and the service was rushed and disorganized at best. One of my party ordered a water, another a gingerale, and they were both delivered lemonade. Bottom line, there are dozens, even hundreds of better restaurants in Vero - go elsewhere!

The first night I spent in Vero Beach we went out for dinner to Mulligan's. It's located at the end of the road on the beach. We dined outside on the screen encircled patio overlooking the ocean. My girlfriend had the

Beach House Garden And Caesar Salad $8.25
Fresh, crispy and oh so tasty, with chicken add $5.00.

Very tasty. And I had the

Spicy Seafood Linguni $19.95
Shrimp, clams & mussels in marinara with linguni.

Which was delicious! Really hit the spot after a 4.5 hour flight from LA and a 3 hour drive from Orlando that day. The service was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere is somewhat like a sports bar so attire is causal. As you can see prices are comparable for the area. A very pleasant dining experiance.

100 feet from the beach, drinking Meyer's Dark w Coke 'n Lime, eating oysters, and fried clams and listening to the crashing surf.

Perfect

We visited Mulligans for sunday lunch with some friends. Service was fast despite it being busy and the food was really good. Food prices seemed reasonable but cost of drinks really bumped up the price (nearly $14 for 2 small glasses of wine). The views from the outside terrace are unbeatable, right on the Atlantic. Parking is at a premium though and the restaurant is right at the beach so it does get busy.
