This restaurant within the Vero Beach Hotel is first rate.Food, decor and service are excellent. However, prices are in line with a first class restaurant of this nature. Great for a special occasion.

We recently filmed an episode for our television show, Bass2Billfish on NBC Sports, at the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa. During our stay we had dinner one night, and breakfast another morning, at Cobalt Restaurant and Lounge.

The dinner was nothing short of fantastic. Chef Michael was knowledgeable and professional. He explained each dish in great detail. With the seafood, Michael explained how each dish promoted sustainable fisheries. We highly recommend the ahi tuna flatbread, as well as the opah, a fish species caught in Hawaii. The dessert was also delicious, specifically the sorbet. Our feature television guests also really enjoyed their cocktails.

Breakfast was a great experience as well. After a long week of filming and fishing, the relaxing oceanfront breakfast was just what we needed. The view was scenic and the atmosphere was comfortable. The egg-white omelette was fresh and delicious.

Cobalt Restaurant and Lounge's staff was very courteous and accommodating for our production team. We highly recommend Cobalt and will be visiting again!

We had a late dinner here and loved the fire pits. Perfect place to sip on an after dinner dinner drink and relax, watching the moon rise over the Atlantic. The Tuna Carpaccio flat bread and the grilled Romaine salad are perfect for appetizers, and the pistachio crusted cheesecake is a must! Don't believe the negative reviews about service and expensive dishes; go and enjoy the view and ambiance for yourself and sit back and relax. Life is good!

We were here for a special small family reunion and to celebrate an anniversary. Everything, and I do mean everything, from the ambience to our server Tom, to the exquisite meal, was absolute perfection. Appetizers included oysters on the half shell, to cold pea bisque (great taste but the forest green color was a bit disturbing). Entrees were ALL excellent: braised short ribs (could have used a bit more sauce or some on the side), seared Tuna, the Flatiron Steak, and it will be a very LONG time before I forget just how delicious the snapper was, cooked and seasoned to perfection. The desserts, including Creme Brûlée (best I've had in years), Fudge with Raspberry topping, and Red Velvet Cake with Ice Cream, were all delicious. No complaints. Later, we went outside to walk around and enjoy the view and the fire pits. We had a great time, and the food and service was impeccable. Highly recommend this remarkable restaurant fronting the Atlantic Ocean!
