Sand was dark, water was not as clear. We did not love this beach. It was calm and clean though. Just not our type of sand and water color.

My family has enjoyed this beach many times. We love to find the sharks teeth. We have found to many to count. You can rent a sand sifter at certain shops. We just go to the dollar store and buy a food strainer to sift the sand. It is much cheaper. They are only a dollar there. Happy hunting!!

Very clean beach with beach patrol so you felt safe there. Gently shelving sand to the water and great views to the ocean. Spent a relaxing day !

Visited this beach last week while staying in Punta Gorda, FL. We loved it because there is a public pool right next to the beach and the concessions stand/restrooms that we could use. We paid $2 for seniors (55+) for entry to the pool and that included use of the chairs. Only downside is that you cannot bring food into the pool area. You can rent beach chairs at the concession stand. It rained a couple of times and we were able to duck under cover in the concessions/rest room area. We had a nice long walk on the beach. Very easy to walk on After it rained we went into town and had a nice lunch outside and did some shopping. (Note: Most of the clothing shops were very matronly. Not much for the younger crowd.) Loved this area and would definitely return.
