unique restaurant serving large portions, good food, easy parking, nice outside veranda suitable to take dog along. Very reasonable prices for the quality and large amount of food. The only surprise was, they only take cash, no credit cards, the bill had no official name on it just a number, very strange.

wow, we have heard so many good things about Luna Risorante...but until you come here yourself and try it out....you won't believe how great it is!! I know they say large portions...but you don't realize it until they put the plate down in front of your face how big the portions really are. The servers there are great, especially if you let them know it's your first time at the restaruant..they inform you of everything you need to know..including warning you that the portions are big. My husband and i both ordered our own meal..which our server told us they are BIG...but we figured since we're on vacation we can put it in the fridge and have it for leftovers the following day...my husband had a 14 inch pizza (it was amazing..you need to try the pizza there..the crust is so good too) and i had the linguini with the mushroom sauce...amazing as well. We weren't able to finish our plates of course...so we have taken it to go..and now have lunch and dinner for the following day. The food heats up well the second day...Also when you first sit down they give you a nice fresh bread with butter and a spread...WOW we were sold at that point of how great it was. Definetely would recommend it. Also, we sat out on the patio, as we have 2 dogs...they had no problem...the only thing was that we (thankfully) brought our own water for the dogs...they had no dog bowls that they provided for them..as the other restaurants do on the venice dr strip.

when you go here bring an appetite for the portions are definetly for hungry people. as a couple we ordered two different dishes(calamri w/linguini in red sauce/linguini pescatore in wine sauce). there was enough for us to taste both and bring home the same.BY THE WAY FOOD IS OUTSTANDING.

Whenever we are in the Venice area, we always eat at Luna's. We get their antipasto, which is loaded with amazing goodies, like eggplant, roasted peppers, various meats/cheeses, etc. It is very difficult for 2 people to finish 1 of those salads. We also love the bread and olive spread. Their wine prices are very reasonable for the quality of wine they serve. I do have an issue with the service-most of the times the servers are friendly and terrific, other times they are harried and barely smile. I know the service industry can be difficult (both mentally and physically), but if that restaurant is too fast-paced, then they may need to find another place to work in.

That has to be the biggest stromboli ever! It can easily serve 4 people. We also enjoyed the manicotti.

My only suggestion would be to get a better ice tea. Mine was a little tasteless.

Our waitress was fun and helpful. We had a lovely evening!
