Felt like we got passed over for seating. Had the chicken fajitas, turned out to be large pieces of chicken with only onions - no peppers, no tomatoes, no seasonings. Normally this place I love, but not this time!

A party of 8, always reserve a table and eat early, 5-6pm. Up to 20-30 waiting outside for a table when we arrived. The restaurant is very busy, but service is always good, food traditional and simply presented. Waiting staff attentive and polite. We all chose traditional Mexican dishes and were not disappointed. This was our second visit and will not be our last. Excellent value, around $15 per head with drinks.

Service was great, and the food was fresh and authentic. Next time we will take a table outside, because when the restaurant is full it can be a bit noisy. Can't wait to go back for more chile rellenos!

The restaurant is located in a cute little plaza, it has a porch area overlooking the plaza and it is very Mexican inside. Service was prompt and food was tasty, we had asado chichuaha and stuffed peppers, they have alcohol free beer which is a plus for us and vegetarian stuff.

Tri-colored tortilla chips and canned tomato tasting salsa did not get us off to a good start. There was no drinks menu delivered to our table and so we tried to get an idea of what the differences were between the many offerings of Margaritas but our waiter, who must have been new, had no idea and didn't seem interested in clarification. Ended up winging it and the drink we went with was good, but rather expensive. Food was tasty, no better nor worse than the average Mexican restaurant but somewhat less authentic tasting than some in other regions. Waiter forgot to mention the special of the day, which we wished we had ordered after the fact. A bit on the expensive side for Mexican food but then again, this is Venice and all of the restaurants here are decidedly overpriced.
