I just love Venice island and we just discovered a new or at least new to us Italian restaurant. We were looking for a place to have dinner before the show at the Venice theatre. We stopped on Venice Ave and this place was mobbed. We thought well, this has got to be good. The owner came over and told us it would be about 5 minutes. He came and got us and brought us to the back of the restaurant and there is a nice big room. It was a little noisy but the atmsphere was great. We told the owner that we were kind of in a rush and he told us not to worry and he was right. We ordered a delicious bottle on Montepulciano wine. It was lovely. We had 3 appetizers and they were all wonderful and an entree of tender ravioli. We were all in heaven. He told us he has the best creme brulee and dang, he was right! We will definitely go back here again. We heard that he has a great "Sunday dinner". We are going to try that too. He went out of his way to make us feel right at home and it worked. We loved the place.
