Hard for me to rate 3 star as the food is very good 4.5 -5 stars.
The owner is very nice and will tell you anything you'd like to know about Vietnamese food and culture. The decorations and atmosphere are clean and pleasant. Service is excellent. I've been 4 times and it has always been good.
Bun, Banh Mi, Pho, Crispy egg roll, Fresh roll all delicious....

There is just one issue, portion size. It's too small. This is not "fat-American" commentary this is a legitimate issue. My favorite is bun ( vermicelli). If you compare their portion to Miss Saigon of Pho Cali in Sarasota you will see it is much smaller. I really wish they offered a larger size or just charged a bit more and provided a proper portion.

I love the food but feel like I need to order a second entree when i'm done. I also overheard people dining next to us one night comment as they were paying that they felt they still needed to eat. Again, really like this place but without a doubt the Bun portion is too small. I did not see the same issue with the Pho compared to other Vietnamese restaurants the portion seemed correct.

Wonderful authentic Vietnamese Cuisine! At last!! We have lived here for ten years. Came here from Mass. We are full time residents, and we work here full time. Not snowbirds. We came from an area where there was a wonderful Vietnamese community in the neighboring college town. We would enjoy eating at local restaurants, when we lived there, and enjoyed the fragrant, fresh, healthy cuisine that Vietnamese food offers! However, when we moved to Florida, we could not find any of that locally, and we missed it!. Well, to our surprise, (after going to St. Pete several times to find a great place for that kind of food) we were delighted to find KT's in our own backyard! How we missed this great place, we do not know, but we stumbled upon it yesterday, picked up a menu and decided to go tonight! We were not disappointed. We met the lovely couple, Tom, and his wife, they are the owners, and Lou, another wait staff person. They were most hospitable! We were made to feel welcome immediately. The restaurant is a very clean well managed, attractive property, small, and cozy. We counted 10 tables. It was comfortable, there was no one waiting but we were there early ( 5:30) As the evening progressed there were more people and some doing take out. WE were made to feel most welcome. We ordered the fresh spring rolls, (2 per order ) very well prepared with peanut sauce, and they were full of shrimp basil fresh herbs and rice noodles. Wonderful fresh and delicious! We both ordered them as an appetizer as we did not want to SHARE! But we could have, if need be. Generous portions . For entree, we had the Banana Blossom Salad, which was not only delicious, but beautiful! Tom showed us the banana blossom. We had never heard of this before and he was most helpful and very happy to share how they prepare this beautiful and delicious entree. It was covered with shrimp (local and fresh) and chicken. My husband had his long lost and missed, Pho, with pork and shrimp. This is a delicious Vietnamese delicacy which we have tried over and over to replicate, and somehow it never has happened at home! He loved it. Fresh, with basil, cilantro, scallions, rice noodles, and a delicious broth. The food was fresh, fragrant, appealing in presentation, and wonderful to taste! Just as we remembered from years ago! We had no room for dessert, but somehow managed to order (and glad we did!) the Vietnamese flan, with strawberries. It was smooth, decadent, and the sauce not overly sweet, just right. We left well satisfied, not stuffed, and felt great. The portion size was very generous, but because everything is so fresh and even the flan made from organic free range eggs, not an over stuffed, uncomfortable feeling. All very very good. The reason I am not giving this 5 stars , is because the restaurant is very small, humble, not a bad thing, but once this is really well known, they will need more room and maybe more ambience. It is immaculately clean. The kitchen also. Wonderful! Lou and Tom checked in on us numerous times, recommended items, and explained things! They were most welcoming and attentive. Service excellent! There is seating outside also in a cute little patio area, however it was cool here tonight and we chose to sit inside. One other thing worth mention. We brought our own bottle of wine, as we enjoy our own.......a secco riesling, which was perfect. They charged us $ 5. for corkage and glasses. Very reasonable. They do serve wine and beer if one prefers. Our total bill $ 42. A great night out at a wonderful place, and we look forward to returning! There were families there with children also. So a great place for kids. We will return one day with our grandchildren, so they can learn about banana blossoms courtesy of Tom, our host. Thank you!

Since we recently vacationed in Viet Nam we decided to try our local Vietnamese restaurant. We had lunch there today . My husband had Pho and spring rolls, I have pork fried rice?It was excellent. The spring rolls were the best we ever tasted. The setting is basic, very clean and bright. The owners were very friendly and seemed delighted that we had come for lunch. We will return often.

This is a small family run cafe offering Vietnamese standards such as Pho, Banh Mi and spring rolls. What makes KT special is the from scratch cooking, absolute freshness of ingredients and the friendly, helpful staff. We tried (and loved) the well-seasoned fried dumplings, pho, grilled pork banh mi, Vietnamese flan and my favorite addiction: Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk.

The cafe is pleasant decorated and scrupulously clean.

All in all what a treat! We'll be back.

If you don't know it by now, Kt's is now open for dinner 4 nights a week. Wednesday thru Saturday, 5-8:30 PM. The dinner menu is a little different than the lunch with some Specialty Dishes and Family Style meals. Vietnamese Banana Blossom Salad and Fresh Papaya Salad are recent additions. They offer Fresh Salmon(seasonal) and a great Chicken Curry. The Family Style meals are larger than the entrees and come with white rice. They now offer beer and wine, some beer from Vietnam and Laos. You will not be disappointed.
