This restaurant is owned and operated by Gigi, a real new England gal. If you crave NE fried clams, scallops or broiled haddock, this is the place to go. It's a small, out of the way place, but always packed during "season". If your down from new England on vaca or otherwise this is a must eat place to go!

Saw their ad on 7/1 and dined there on 7/2. I can't express how thrilled we are to find a restaurant that serves authentic N.E. seafood. We just moved to Venice and are checking out restaurants and this has the best seafood so far. The place isn't fancy but it was very clean and the staff were warm, friendly and top notch for service. The food was served quickly...no long wait and the other diners chatted with each other. It was a very friendly place to eat. We both had fried, whole belly clams, French fries, onion rings and coleslaw. If I didn't know better I would have thought I was back home. We can't wait to go back and try all the other delicious items on the menu, especially the lobster roll with melted butter (ummm!) It's in a little strip mall towards the back of the mall and not as easy to find as some places but definitely worth the effort if you are from N.E. and craving "home cooking".

My wife being from MA, had to take her for her fried whole belly clams. She said they were just like back home, I had the Clam Chowder, and probably the best I had ever had. Also had the Haddock, wasn't bad a little bland, would have liked some kind of Sauce or a mango salsa on the side, but his is New England Seafood, not Florida. Wait staff very good. Don't come here looking for ambience.

I was expecting more of a "chain" restaurant atmosphere but got a wonderfully, quint, typical east coast "no frills" restaurant! LOVE IT! The wait staff looked to be brothers or cousins of all ages, ours being a 12 year old boy who was absolutely ADORABLE! The food is mostly deep fat fried and was "ok" but if you are from the east coast and are homesick this is the place for you!!
