Being a transplanted Chicagoan, I take pizza very seriously - and have had a tough time finding decent pizza since moving to South Florida 4 yeas ago. We found Scamotz on a weekend trip to Florida's West Coast, and only wish it were closer to us in Fort Lauderdale.
The dough/crust is light with a nice flavor, the ingredients are fresh, and it was cooked to perfection. I had the Neapolitan, which is non-meat, but an extraordinary treat, with fresh tomatoes, exquisite cheese and great, spicy sauce. I started with a very fresh salad of field greens, toasted pecans, dried cranberries, crumbled feta and a really nice viniagrette.
Good pizza like this takes time, so don't be in a hurry and you wont be disappointed...
