Looking to get away from the crowds...this is the place to go, a hidden gem! There are spots where you can take your children and be "alone" and enjoy the sand and the sea. Or you can sit on the benches provided and watch the waves on the man made walk way....

This beach offers ample access opportunities to the beach, both for able bodied as well as handicapped people. The beach stretches south for what seems forever, offering plenty of opportunities for privacy - or at least a less-crowded beach experience. Some of the road is closed to traffic, allowing safe bicycle riding. There are very well maintained bathrooms, and there's a short pathway that leads to a very nice paved walk along the intracoastal waterway. If you are into collecting shark's teeth, this is a very popular place to go. I highly recommend it.

Had fun at this beach, watching people looking for shark teeth, and shells...It was a busy beach, didn't see too many people in the water either. we left and went to Venice beach

Great rustic beach away from the crowds. Free parking with a short walk to the beach. Recent erosion has diminished the beach depth but never the less it's a really nice beach. Shark teeth abound, nice rocky shoreline. Overall one of my favorite beaches.
